He quoted us $5600 for the job and said it would save us money if we did it during waterproofing. We called a foundation engineer for a second opinion and were told our house was perfectly fine and in no need for foundation piers. Also be wary of the cost for put back of the dry wall/studs/finishings after the waterproofing. Sundry does not do this part of the job and will tell you it will only cost a few hundred bucks...it is not. We got a quote for $1100 from the guy that Mario referred and the price didnt even include putting the laminate flooring back. Mario was calling us every week when we first got the quote to schedule the job, but as soon as we needed something from him (to connect us with the guy for put back), he was very unresponsive and didnt stick to his estimated time frames. Marios contractors also left a mess of our basement with cement and dirt stains on our intact flooring. Other than that, the contractors did a great and speedy job and were very kind and professional. All in all, I would recommend them for their pricing is the cheapest of all other vendors we spoke to and they were very quick. I can only hope that they stay around long enough and that our warranty will always cover future leaks/issues."

"John Alguire responded quickly to my request for a quote. The price was reasonable so it was approved. The project was delayed a couple weeks due to all the rain in February but John was up-front about the delay. When the weather dried up a bit John called to schedule the work a couple days out. His crew showed up and got going on the morning promised. The work went smoothly. I asked John for an adjustment to the concrete forms at the porch stairs and it was taken care of no problem. The crewmen also scraped the sod from the area to be poured and placed it in a bare spot for me. They also asked me where to put the excess dirt. Overall they did a great job. I highly recommend Alguire Construction to everyone."
