"We had issues with water leaking into the basement after heavy rainfall and called SunDry to give us a quote for water proofing. The job was completed and two days later it rained and our basement flooded... the sales rep, Mario, came back out and said they didnt make the flange tall enough in one corner, so the contractors came back and fixed it and it was covered under the warranty. Why they didnt do it right the first time I am not sure. Everyone considering using this company must be careful of Mario. He is a classic salesman ready to tell you exactly what you need to hear to make a sale, so be VERY careful trusting everything he is telling you. He walked around our house and pointed at random cracks and splits and said we needed foundation piers or our house is going to sink. He quoted us $5600 for the job and said it would save us money if we did it during waterproofing. We called a foundation engineer for a second opinion and were told our house was perfectly fine and in no need for foundation piers. Also be wary of the cost for put back of the dry wall/studs/finishings after the waterproofing. Sundry does not do this part of the job and will tell you it will only cost a few hundred bucks...it is not. We got a quote for $1100 from the guy that Mario referred and the price didnt even include putting the laminate flooring back. Mario was calling us every week when we first got the quote to schedule the job, but as soon as we needed something from him (to connect us with the guy for put back), he was very unresponsive and didnt stick to his estimated time frames. Marios contractors also left a mess of our basement with cement and dirt stains on our intact flooring. Other than that, the contractors did a great and speedy job and were very kind and professional. All in all, I would recommend them for their pricing is the cheapest of all other vendors we spoke to and they were very quick. I can only hope that they stay around long enough and that our warranty will always cover future leaks/issues."

"Lowest of three bids.  Selected for price and Angie's list ratings.  John Alguire is very professional.  He worked alongside his men and completed the job in two days.  There were a couple of minor issues.  First, I had asked for window frame outline on the walkway, but John forgot to do it.  That's partly my fault for not watching as they poured.  John gave me a discount for the work not performed.  Second, his men left a lot of concrete debris when they removed the forms.  I called John and he immediately came with his crew to clean it up.  So overall, the job was done very well.  There has been no cracking of the concrete at all because expansion joints were provided where needed, and the drainage is good.  The driveway and walk have received many favorable comments from neighbors and friends.  I would definitely use Alguire Construction for other projects.

"Overall, it was a good experience. AAA put down a vapor barrier and installed a Santa Fe dehumidifier with sump pump. The result is that we can now use the stand-up basement/crawlspace to store things under the house without ruining them. This is the part that you need to know. The installation was not without problems. First, they broke an A/C drain pipe, second, they cut a sprinkler controller wire while running a PVC pipe. Here's my take, accidents happen but how does the business respond to these issues? Well, Donna was very quick to send her team out to correct the problems and they even paid for the damage to the sprinkler system. To me, that's top notch customer service. Any business can make a mistake, but how they handle it is the mark of a good company. Every time I lift the roll door and go into the basement now, I'm amazed at how cool and fresh the air is down there. No more mildew and no more smell."
