I contacted Jason Bailey of Davis Air Conditioning Co. a few days ago when my sister's air conditioner went out suddenly. My brother-in-law had another company come out prior to me contacting Jason and had to pay $79.00 for an estimate. The estimate was outrageous to say the least so I immediately became a member of Angie's List to find another specialist and reputable business owner. Because I know absolutely nothing about HVAC I was a little nervous about the interaction, but I must say Jason put my mind at ease immediately. He was very friendly, considerate, and patient. He sent a technician to my sister's house right away and FREE of charge to find out if there was an easy fix that might have gotten the system up and running that day--to no avail. I was eager to get the problem fixed because my sister has an infant and toddler in the house and it was smoldering in there. Jason, being a family man himself, was sympathetic to my plight. Once we came to an agreement with regard to services to be provided and payment he made things happen quickly. Within a couple of days my family was enjoying a cool and comfortable home thanks to Davis Air Conditioning Co. I was happy to pay, he honored the Angie's list discount, and he was a delight to deal with. Also let me mention this--Jason answered all of my questions and was available to me all times of day even after normal duty hours. Should I have and other HVAC needs I will definitely utilize his services. He's the BEST!!!

I also want to take this time to shout Jason out because like me and the majority of my siblings he is a United States Veteran. Jason thank you so much for your service to our country.

"Wes and an assistant technician came at their assigned time at 9am and worked hard all day until after 7pm. They were very effective and detailed in locating the problems with my duct system (there were many) and ensuring their setup was meticulously done so that the Aeroseal air sealing went well. Their attention to detail was fantastic and when they went to do the sealing treatment they showed me what they were doing and explained how the Aeroseal system works. They even printed a graph for me on how the sealing measures tightened up my ducts.
My HVAC duct system was exceptionally leaky. It started leaking at 414 cfm and by the time Wes was done doing the Aeroseal treatment it only leaked 160 cfm. I didn't expect them to be able to seal all of the leaks, but they got most of them. I was running the downstairs AC this morning and I can feel the difference in the amount of AC now blowing out of the downstairs vents. I am certain this will also help on our heating bills in the winter."

Since I can do most of my services remotely with you over the phone, I am hoping to eventually open up to larger markets and help people from having to take their computer in to get it fixed, if it has internet access, I can usually fix it over the Internet. I work on a flat rate service, and don't charge by the hour because I feel it's important to educate the customer on what the issue is/was, and how to avoid it in the future. I feel that local service companies (my competition) have been overcharging customers for years. I offer a first time customer discount of 10% but I will offer 15% off for first time customers referred by Angies List. I've lived in the Huntsville area most all my life, so I know the area very well. I will never use a subcontractor as I am very picky about making sure that if my name and company is associated with something, it will be the best experience my customer has ever had, and using sub contractors won't ensure that, so I prefer to do all the work myself. Lastly, I should point out that I am a former offensive lineman for the University of Southern Mississippi and was Brett Favre's center his freshman year at Southern. I went on to play for Tom Landry in his last year, but gave up pro football early on to pursue my passion of fixing computers. If I didn't have bills to pay, I would do this for free because I love it! If you have a computer problem, I promise you that you couldn't find a better technician that will care about you as a customer, and not about the bottom line. I am always available, but don't always answer my phone, but if you leave a message, I promise to back with you as soon as possible...and figure out how to get your issue resolved in a quick, efficient and economical manner. "The repair process started on 4/20/22. Was repaired on 5/4/22. There were numerous appointments that were rescheduled. We were without air conditioning during this time. When the techinician was here they were very professional.Just glad to have air conditioning again."

Great guys. I had used them 4 months before for my grout cleaning which was close to 900 sq/ft and they did a great job. This time it was the AC ducts along dryer vent and once again they came thru !!! Highly recommended !!!

"I had purchased a big deal for the service. I had a little difficulty getting a hold of them, but when they showed up they were great, and did what they were supposed to do. I paid additional for the vents. I think they are probably market price. He worked hard. Everything was fine after I got a hold of them, but it was just the initial contact."

"What I didn't like, I hadn't had any other problem in my house until I had an air conditioning problem.  While, they did take care of fixing most of the stuff with the air conditioning.  I did have to pay for the coolant that went into it, that was kind of aggravating, since you  know you are already going to pay a $60-$80 service charge for something and the you turn around and think you are covered and find out there are gaps of coverage.  We'll fix the part and pay for the labor but everything else is on you.  I think outside of price all the categories are an "A".  For price I'd give it a "C", because it's not like you are getting complete coverage.  I'd use them again if I needed to, I'd definitely consider it."
