A Service Emphasis- For 34 years Audio Advice has served our clients as both a retailer and custom systems installer. Leon Shaw founded Audio Advice in 1978, and grew the company to be renowned in the Carolinas for high performance audio. His passion for great sound and video has fueled our growth as the leading provider of home entertainment systems in the Carolinas and gained access to the finest products and brands worldwide. From the beginning, Leon’s focus on customer service has set Audio Advice apart. Today as Chairman of the Board, Leon continues to place a top priority on great customer service, and has learned techniques from a variety of sources. He attended the Walt Disney School of Customer Service twice, each time bringing back ideas to help improve customer relations. “It can be as simple as bringing a lunch to a client at their home],” he says. "I hired audio advice in 2/2024. I paid over 30K for a job to connect existing home theater, existing speakers and internet network. Price is outrageous especially at that price point when you ask them to make the job right, they come back and ask for more money. I wished I have done my homework and hired another reasonable company that stands behind their work. I would never hire them again for the price mark and quality of work done."

Heavenly Heat Infrared Saunas are made for the chemically sensitive. That means that our infrared saunas create an ideal, safe, and effective detoxification environment for anyone seeking to eliminate toxic substances from their body.

"Terrible! Wish I had gone with another company. Here is the issue with Heavenly Heat. If your sauna arrives damaged or and issue arrives -- they have zero technical support. Your repairs will be done by any "joe" that heavenly heat finds to do the repair in your area. They will have no experience with Sauna's and are given no instructions regarding the chemical free aspect of these sauna's. The worst part is the buyer, me, was treated as if I was the problem for wanting my sauna repaired correctly. I would have refused the delivery had I realized I was receiving a damaged sauna and would have to spend hours and days trying to get this resolved. The owner, Bob Morgan, is extremely responsive before he has your money but after, is a different story. When inquiring about the sauna he would respond generally within 10 minutes. After you purchase, and particularly if you have a problem with it, you are treated as if you're a nuisance. My sister bought a competitors sauna around the same time and the service she received from knowledgable representatives was a world of difference from my experience. My other issue was that there were shipping delays and Bob would never communicate them. I would have to pursue him to get information. I think they make a decent sauna but I would not recommend for reasons stated above."

"DO NOT GET YOUR POOL FROM OASIS. We recently purchased an above ground pool. They completely destroyed our backyard. The paperwork said to expect 1-2 feet dug around for the pool. However, they dug over 6 feet and left 2-3 ft drop offs and nothing was level. When I told Caroline about the situation, she said to send her pictures. I didn’t hear a response for days. When I reached out again for an update, she told me that them coming back out to fix the yard would “void our warranty” and to “sprinkle some gravel around it.” After us pushing, she was agreeable for the grading team to come back out, but was quick to point out several times how she was “being nice” and “doing us a favor.” Unfortunately, the story gets worse. We were told multiple dates to expect the graders and various excuses were provided why they couldn’t come that day. This happened multiple times, on top of not getting a return call/text to the point where we got the Better Business Bureau involved. She was very upset when we told her and “couldn’t believe” we called them. We told her all the reasons why and she had no response except that “Charlie” the grader would be back to our house and that we were “on top of his list.” However, when we didn’t see him by 3 PM, we contacted her, and she said he was at another job and would be at our house after 5. Another lie. When Charlie did come out, he was very rude and made several sarcastic comments about “hoping this would make us happy” and that “we’ve went above and beyond for y’all.” He also hit our power pole (thankfully no damage) and crushed two bags of concrete for our deck installation. To say this has been a nightmare is putting it lightly. The ONLY good part of this is that the pool is great and that we won’t EVER have to do business with them again."

Follow these general safety tips for spas and hot tubs:

  • Keep your exterior electrical receptacles covered and dry, especially around your hot tub and pool during periods of use.

  • Make sure you have a GFCI (ground fault circuit interrupter) properly installed to ensure no one gets accidentally shocked or injured by electrocution. 

  • Don’t use the hot tub or your pool during a thunderstorm. 

  • Before using the hot tub, have a certified electrician thoroughly inspect your hot tub and its wiring to make sure you’re in full compliance with all applicable local building codes. 

How often you change the water in your swim spa depends on how often you use it. Most manufacturers recommend changing the water every three to six months. If you use your swim spa throughout the seasons, it’s a good idea to set up a quarterly deep cleaning schedule. The ideal instructions should be in the owner’s manual.

Where you drain a hot tub largely depends on local regulations, but you must not drain chemically treated water where it can damage the environment. Direct the water toward a sanitary sewer drain that will take it to a treatment facility. If your lawn has a dedicated drainage area that’s free from plants and foundations, you can likely drain it there. Avoid storm drains, as the hot tub water will enter waterways and could hurt aquatic life. Likewise, do not pour it out directly on any public land or where it can get into your neighbors’ property. 

For a fully-foamed hot tub, freezing typically occurs when the temperature drops below 28 degrees Fahrenheit and remains at or below this level continuously for a minimum of 36 hours. If your hot tub and pumps are still operational, however, the water circulates, and this continuous movement helps prevent freezing, even in very cold conditions. This circulation, along with the insulation provided by the foam, helps maintain the water temperature and prevent it from freezing during extended cold periods. Still, if you’re not planning to run it regularly, be sure to winterize the hot tub properly to prevent damage from freezing.
