"We couldn’t be more thrilled with the outstanding work MWR, LLC did in completing our patio project, which included installing a beautiful roof and outdoor kitchen. From start to finish, their team demonstrated exceptional craftsmanship, professionalism, and dedication, making the entire process seamless and enjoyable. One of the standout qualities of MWR, LLC is the responsiveness and accessibility of the owner, Calvin Marcotte. His commitment to client satisfaction was evident in his prompt communication, willingness to address concerns, and hands-on involvement throughout the project. His attentiveness made all the difference in ensuring that every aspect of our vision was executed flawlessly. Beyond the leadership, the MWR team displayed an incredible attention to detail. Every cut, every finish, and every installation was handled with precision and care, ensuring that the final result was nothing short of spectacular. Their flexibility in accommodating design changes along the way was also remarkable—we never felt restricted, and they seamlessly adapted to enhancements we wanted to make during the project. Equally impressive was the professionalism and friendliness of the craftsmen. Their expertise and positive attitude made working with them a pleasure, and their outstanding communication kept us informed at every stage of the project. Knowing exactly what to expect throughout the process gave us peace of mind and reaffirmed that we had chosen the right team for the job. In the end, we are extremely pleased with the quality of workmanship provided by MWR, LLC. The final product exceeded our expectations, and we can confidently say that this is a firm we highly recommend to anyone looking for top-tier construction services. "Bob repaired wood rot on one of our entry door frames. He was easy to get in touch with, courteous, and prompt. He carved out the wood rot and replaced the area with a new piece of wood. Others quoted less, but their solution was to patch the rotted area with Bondo (wood filler) and paint over it."

While the terms deck and porch are often used interchangeably, they are two distinct home features. Porches offer a roof that protects from the elements when coming and going from the house. Generally, porches are on the front of your home. On the other hand, decks are generally built in the backyard of a home and offer no roof or protection from the elements, like rain or snow. Porches typically require less maintenance and upkeep thanks to the roof, but both features require regular cleaning and repairs to maintain good condition.
It might seem counterintuitive, but the best time to install a paver patio is during late fall to winter. The cold and wet weather of those seasons can help your patio installer perfect the foundation for your patio. Plus, you'll likely be able to find better sales and deals during the colder months when patio installation business is typically slower. Consult a local patio paver professional to determine the best time to install based on your area’s climate.
The cost to build a deck is $8,025 on average. However, this cost can range anywhere from $1,500 to $22,000, depending on multiple factors, such as size, materials, and deck type. You can expect to pay $30 to $60 per square foot when building a new deck.
Cedar decks are often the most cost-effective option, ranging from $4 to $9 per square foot for materials. However, pressure-treated decking, which is resistant to rot, is more expensive, ranging from $15 to $25 per square foot for materials.
A paver patio can last anywhere from 20 to 100 years, depending on the type of pavers and how well you maintain them.
Travertine pavers are usually the most durable, lasting 100 years or more, with regular maintenance. Concrete brick pavers have a variety of shapes and colors available and typically last 25 to 50 years. Traditional brick pavers have a more classic look, lasting around 20 years with proper maintenance.
The cost of a paver patio is $3,800 for a 280-square-foot patio on average. Depending on the patio size, paver material, and design complexity, this cost can range from $2,400 to $7,000 or more.
The size of your patio is a significant factor in the project’s overall cost. If you're building a smaller patio of only 60 square feet, your costs will be closer to $480 to $1,500. If you want a more luxurious 900-square-foot patio, you'll spend closer to $7,200 to $22,500.
