"I had no dryer vent. I just had a hole in the wall. No. He wasn't fixing it. He came out to clean the dryer vent, and there was no dryer vent. I found out I got a structural problem. I got to fix. I thanked him, and he went his separate ways. The guy was suppose to refer me to an handyman, but he never did. They didn't really do any work. "

"These workers are no strangers  to hard work. They performed this job under freezing temperatures and in a confined and dark area of my basement. They went to extra extremes and additional work to keep from tearing up my yard. The clean-up was outstanding. If you have a serious water problem in your basement, this is the company you want. Some basement toilets use an air admittance valve instead, which is a small vent located in the wall directly behind the toilet that extends upward a few feet from the drain.

The normal water level in a toilet bowl is about halfway full. The water should sit above the P trap drain because this creates a seal and suction. When you flush the toilet, the suction keeps sewer gases from entering your house through your toilet. Anytime the water level is higher or lower than half full, you need to make adjustments or replace broken parts.

You can DIY your toilet flapper replacement if you’re up for a small plumbing project. Turn off the water to the toilet, open the tank lid, remove the chain from the lever, and unhook the flapper. For a new, adjustable flapper, adjust it to the right setting according to your toilet's gallons per flush rating. Hook the flapper in place and install the chain with 1/2 inch of slack.
