I am a one-man shop trying to put together beautiful and useful works of art with wood so that someone might enjoy them in their home.

"STL Woodworking did a stellar job with my special order for a one-of-a-kind river wood table. I described what I had in mind in terms of wood, colors, and size, and the owner (Greg) crafted the most beautiful table made out of a beautiful piece of macacauba wood and paired with a gorgeous epoxy color and a perfect set of black metal table legs. Greg completed the project on schedule and delivered the piece himself. The table is stunning, so I rearranged my furniture to make it a centerpiece in my sitting area, and I use it daily as my desk working from home. It is truly a piece of functional art. I am so glad I went with STL Woodworking for this project."

Steven Shaffer is a wonderful salesman but his workers do not provide quality work and will not come back out to correct or fix things that were not done to satisfaction. Our gutters were damaged along with our bricks/mortar. The workers were careless and rough and left messes daily. The crew would lay out of work, show up late, take extended lunch breaks, and leave early. A project that should have only taken 1 week, got drawn out to 3 weeks. We were pressured to settle up and pay as we were leaving to go to a ballgame and was promised that everything would get taken care while we were gone and to send pictures of anything we may see afterwards only get have our check cashed abruptly and no one to ever return to fix things. Our damaged gutter was not even reattached and a support pole was left showing no effort to complete the project. Lots of sloppy craftsmanship with over cut marks, uneven boards, paint and caulk was also left on our composite deck left for us to clean up. Very disappointed. After filing a complaint with BBB, I received an unprofessional text calling me petty and stupid instead of trying to rectify the situation and make it right."
