I’ve tried before to use some sub-contractors and it didn’t work out too well so I do not sub out any of my jobs. It’s strictly me and my crew your dealing with. I do write contracts/proposals for every job I do, and it explains everything we will be performing on job. It also details dollar amounts for the overall job and material. The unfinished job, and ghosting made the whole experience unacceptable. The clean up was also not up to par, as our trash can, and plants all had a nice mist of white spray paint."

I live in NC and was charged with finding a North Georgia contractor to design, build and install outside stairrails/balusters for a 1970-something home inhabited by my 80 and 84 year old in-laws, both of whom have balance & walking difficulties. Neither set of steps was built per today’s standards so simply purchasing a kit or similar was not possible. Additionally, this issue was ignored by family members until I involved Rhett. Suddenly, he’s inundated with texts/questions for which I already had answers per our discussions. However, I needed numerous written responses from him so I could forward to these individuals doubting my ability to discuss my in-law’s needs. Rhett has the patience of Job and showed such kindness in walking me thru his ideas and explaining everything to my in-laws until they were comfortable. Rhett met with my in-laws on two separate occasions to confirm their wishes regarding and comfort with the design decisions. His work also involved replacing step with a small deck/stairs. Additionally, he created a step between a living room and a later built sunroom that required a significant step down/up due to height difference & installing two outdoor wrought iron grab bars. He contacted me the same day as I posted an inquiry on Angi’s and within 2 weeks, completed the project. I wish he lived in North Carolina! Fantastic customer service, a creative mind and a skilled professional!"

"Had given a deposit for the window and it was to be installed within 6 weeks. On the 6th week I called and they said yes the window was in , when did I want it. The installer came the next week. Though he did a good job of installing my window I had bought new plastic brick molding which he cut backwards and had to rig in , I had also bought new plastic window sill 6' long enough for 2 windows. when he left he took all my materials and lost my check . I know they have many installers working for them , in my case ,with one window , I think they sent a good old boy and not a professional . The window does it's job , has ? a lifetime warranty and probably no one but me and a builder would notice the Brick Molding is on the wrong sides of the window . As far as my extra materials I just chalked that up to price."
