"I am very appreciative of Diego. The lawn looks much, much better. Diego came early, which tells me about his commitment. My yard is large, and the leaf work was more challenging today since it rained yesterday. I definitely would recommend Diego and will be using his services again in the future. VERY SATISFIED!!!"

"We had a TON of leaves, way too many for me to handle by myself. They got rid of everything and left my yard looking great. We will definitely be hiring again!"

"Esverything was fine until the wife Susan Anderson decided to get back to me at 6 AM this morning. That is so inconsiderate. She apologized and then said it was because I left a message at 11:40 pm and she was sleeping. She said she thought it was important (?) So she waited 6 hours to call me back? .WELL, to an adult, that is irresponsible. She was retaliating. She escalated the conversation, culminating in me not wanting to deal with this company. She's immature. I am a customer. I believe you should not argue with a customer as they are always right. Old school, but still correct. On two previous visits her husband was told he was NOT to use roundup near our plants. He did. I am highly allergic to it and had to destroy my vegetables. The latest he sent his son and his son's friend was stung by yellow jackets because he tried to weed eat IN the county owned ditch. So, that ended that maintenance strip being mowed. She's not even aware of what we requested. She just was the appointment taker. Mowing got done, no weedeating,"

Lawns questions, answered by experts

If maintained correctly, natural grass should last between five and 15 years, or up to several decades, depending on your home’s climate conditions. You can extend your grass’ lifespan by treating it well, including regular mowing, weeding, watering, and preventative pest control. Consider hiring a local lawn care service to provide everything your grass needs to live a long, healthy life.

Yes, you can overwater your grass. Depending on your climate, it could be easier than you think. While water is an essential element for lawn growth, too much of it can actually damage its roots, leading to rot and other damage.

Whether your drip irrigation system leaks, it’s been a rainy summer, or you use the sprinkler too often, overwatering your lawn can drive up your water bill and impact the longevity of your lawn.

Post-seeding care involves regular watering, mowing when appropriate, and occasional re-seeding to cover sparse areas.

The best time to aerate a lawn is when there's plenty of moisture in the soil, which is the fall or spring seasons. However, keep in mind that lawn aeration isn't very effective when there has been a long period of heavy rain, as the excess water can potentially damage the lawn in the aeration process. Wait until your lawn is predominantly dry to start the aeration process to ensure best results.

When it comes to combatting the effects of soil compaction, core aeration does a far better job for a longer period of time—because it actually removes dirt rather than just pressing holes into it. By taking dirt out from under your lawn, core aeration allows more light, air, water, and nutrients to penetrate into the soil below and help your grass’s roots grow even stronger.
