"Excellent landscape company. He installed the sod and shrubbery at my new construction home. His price was the best. Jerry kept in contact with me and was very honest during the entire project. I would highly recommend him."

"Seem genuinely eager to satisfy the vision of the vision provided , and carried out responsibility effortlessly. We live in a gated HOA. At least 5 neighbors were just so pleased with the results of the work done by JJ and his team. They comment that we were the trend setters. Finally he had an extremely positive attitude the entire job⠦⠦ Get Johnâ s Landscaping for all your landscaping needs."

"They took the time to slope and grade just the way i explained it . two days later it rained for 10 hours and the water drained away from the pool perfectly. Also showed up on time to quote and to do the job. What more can you ask for."

"Jonathan is amazing! He completely refurbished our weed infested backyard with pinestraw, stepping stones, weed spraying and landscaping fabric. He is detail oriented, conscientious, meticulous, honest and affordable. We plan to keep hiring him as yard projects are needed. 5 stars all the way! 🌟"
Dead pine straw, bland look the slop is also killing the grass at the very bottom.
We added black mulch, weed barrier (no more weed problems) and a Windsor wall to top it off and solve the erosion issue. All done in just 1 day.

"These brothers know their business. They thinned out the trees in our back yard, which is on a ridge. They did it in a manner where the rain wouldn't wash silt into the lake. The oriental tress and anything over 6inches in diameter was left. They know how to conserve the environment, leave the the natural beauty, yet clean out the area for better visibility. I highly recommend this company."

Landscaping questions, answered by experts

Consulting your local university extension, Audubon society, or municipal urban forestry program are all good ideas when choosing a tree to plant. You can also ask an arborist or a knowledgeable landscaping company for advice on good trees to plant.

While both fall and spring are suitable times of the year for planting trees, fall is typically the better option. Soil stays warm long enough to allow tree roots to establish in fall before they go dormant, while spring might give way to intense summer heat before spring-planted trees have time to grow strong roots.

The best time to plant is between spring and autumn. Springtime weather is typically mild and is when nurseries start to bloom. When the summer weather arrives and it’s hot out, it’s best to avoid planting bare-root plants, but you can still plant many in-container varieties. The first sign of fall is another great opportunity to plant biennials if you live in southern states, or a lovely vegetable garden up north.

Yes, rock gardens do need water. That said, they typically require less regular watering and, instead, more occasional, deep watering since the rocks trap moisture for longer than mulch. Make sure you don’t water your rock garden too much during the winter.

The best place to plant a rose bush is where it will be happiest. Growing roses is difficult if the location varies much from what the plants like. Choose a location that gets at least six hours of direct sunlight during the growing season but not much more than that in hot-climate locations. If such a spot doesn't exist in your yard, consider planting your rose in a movable container to take advantage of portability.
