We recall recommending Bermuda sod for your property, as it is better suited for your property's sun exposure, the climate and long-term sustainability. However, you opted for a more economical seed option due to the large area, which we understood. We always aim to work within the preferences and budget of our clients, but it's important to note that with seed, particularly over a large area, certain challenges can arise to which we discussed prior to performing this project. Regarding the claims of multiple cancellations or reschedules, we have visited your property numerous times and, to our knowledge, did not cancel or reschedule four times. On one of our follow-up visits, shortly after seeding we were able to see that the seed had successfully germinated, which is a positive sign that the area had the potential to thrive. As for the rut in the ground, this was caused by the pool drain placement performed by the pool contractors, which led to the uneven surface. Additionally, upon my last visit to your property, per our discussion, we discovered that the overall mesh issue you mentioned occurred due to the mower cutting the fescue at a height of 2 inches to which I recall specifically going over the proper cutting height of 3.5 - 4". Unfortunately, when cutting at a height of 2", fescue grass cannot survive and unfortunately played a significant role in the grass not establishing itself through the mesh properly.
