"Iâ ve been wanting to purchase a swimming pool for a few years now but I didnt know where to start. All of the companies I reached out to were quoting me outrageous prices, but Brian at Craft Your Pool was well within my budget. He walked me through the entire process and made it all super simple, from the initial design and consultation, all the way to the finished product. I couldnâ t be happier with my purchase and Iâ m so glad I found CraftYourPool. If youâ re looking to get a pool installed this summer look no further. Brian is your man!"

"CHW was very responsive to my claim (swimming pool circulation pump failed). However, CHW was unable to find a local service provider. After 10 days, my pool was experiencing an algae bloom and I needed to do something quickly. I found a service provider who fixed the pump (bad capacitor) for $50...just a few dollars more than the $45 that would have been out of pocket for a CHW agent to fix the pump."

Pool Construction and Installation questions, answered by experts

Land surveys are worth it in several scenarios including selling your home, building an addition, constructing a fence, or making major changes to your landscape. A professional land survey can help you avoid legal issues with your neighbors and confirm the value of your property. In many cases, you may be required to order a land survey to receive a construction permit or mortgage loan.

New constructions, renovations, and interior layouts benefit from expert drafting.

Consultation with the local government helps identify necessary permits, avoid project delays or legal issues, and protect project integrity.

If you can’t find any records online, you’ll need to contact your county clerk’s office to do further research. They should have property records on file, or can at least point you in the right direction of who to contact. You can also speak with your neighbors about when their houses were built because they were likely built around the same time.

When planning for land survey costs, you should consider the following elements as major contributors to the overall cost:

  • Size of your property in terms of acres or square feet

  • Complexity of the terrain in terms of hills, elevation changes, rocks, water, and other features

  • Type of survey you need (boundary survey, topographic survey, or a combination of survey types)

  • Distance traveled for the professional surveyor
