In business since 1981 master carpenter and professional general contractor renovation, remodeling & restoring houses and buildings.Creating beautifull masterpeaces with each job and making life more enjoyable for the customer.

"BEWARE: We had a terrible experience with Freddie. He is not a man of his word. His crew did a terrible job on the plumbing for our bathroom remodel, and we had to hire a separate plumbing company to come in and redo their plumbing work, which costs us close to $3800… After Freddie’s crew attempted to redo the plumbing and Freddie himself came out for 5 straight days trying to “fix” the plumbing problems! We ended up with water damage in our living room, had to have 4 sections cut out of our ceiling, and had to hire a separate company on our own to fix their failed work. The new plumbing company found issues with every single plumbing fixture that his crew had touched, and the work was not up to code. Freddie did reimburse us (or else he would have had a small claims court case against him) but he specifically sent the payment to us via PayPal, which was not one of the options that we gave him after he asked for specific payment instructions. The way that he sent the funds to us, caused us to incur $110 in fees. We reached out to Freddie regarding the fees, and he has yet to respond. He also told us that we would have a 1 year warranty on his work. Well, we are about 4 week post completion and we have a large 3 foot tile that has come loose. We have reached out 3 different times to Freddie, and he is not responding. He is not a man of his word, and he is not an honest businessman. We would avoid doing any type of business with this company or with Freddie. Unfortunately we are very disappointed, and will never refer him business."

Stucco questions, answered by experts

Costs depend on project size, material quality, and additional services like color matching or texture customization.

Yes, stucco can be installed over existing siding, but some contractors wouldn’t recommend it. Putting stucco over other types of siding requires careful consideration and proper preparation. Stucco is regularly added over brick and wood siding; however, some of the biggest factors affecting stucco installation include the condition of the existing siding and whether it’s strong enough to hold the weight of the stucco. If stucco is added to another type of siding, the weight can cause it to crack, making it susceptible to moisture, water damage, and mold.

Costs range from $6 to $10 per square foot, depending on material type and project scope.

Yes, you can screw directly into stucco. Only do so if the item you are installing is a permanent fixture. Drill a pilot hole into the stucco using a masonry or concrete bit, then drive in the screw with a power drill or screwdriver.

Quikrete will set without mixing. The process of pouring dry concrete into your concrete form and then adding water is called dry pouring. While this method makes pouring concrete simpler and easier, it reduces its strength and durability. It can be a viable option for small, decorative concrete pavers for walkways or for setting fence posts, but it’s not ideal for pouring slabs that will bear any significant amount of weight.
