"Luke and his team did an outstanding job on the dry wall repairs and reframing needed in my house.  I had a list of small cracks and holes, plus ceiling damage due to a leaking roof.  There was also a bathroom with a mix of old drywall and new to frame up.  They arrived on time, did the work, cleaned up and came out the next day to do the final sand.  They also took an old mirror off the wall and carried it to the curb for pickup.   I would not call anyone else for future projects.  I now have my drywall proffessionals.  As an added bonus they are incredibly nice and I was very comfortable having them in the house.

However, if you’re DIYing the project, shiplap is less expensive since you won’t have to pay for labor. With drywall, getting a smooth finish is difficult unless you’re a pro. Shiplap is ideal for an accent wall or unique space, such as around a fireplace, since it adds texture and gives off a cozy vibe.

A 50-pound mirror can be hung on drywall, but only if it has the support of strong hardware. Ideally, you can find the studs behind the drywall and attach the mirror to them; this will give your mirror better stability. Another technique is to use French cleats—two pieces of wood that fit together, with one piece attached to the wall and the other to the mirror.
