"Terrible service asked to have someone give estimate. Was asked to take pics and mark replacement pickets (Lazy). On day of appointment didn't show up till 3:30 tore fence apart(Thursday)and left. Said they would be back in morning never showed up. I had to call company at 12pm to get update. Just to be shuffled around and told someone would be by Tuesday at the earliest to "look" at it. Garbage service yard looks like a construction site. Papers used to mark fence thrown in yard. Fence pickets and posts scattered across the lawn."

Old wrought iron fences typically found at estate sales or on older properties are much heavier and much more prone to rust than the ornamental wrought iron that newer homes and fences use.

The distance between fence posts depends on the type of fence you’re installing. Wood and metal fence posts should be between 5 feet and 8 feet apart. Chain-link fence posts can be closer together at 4 feet apart, or the spacing can be up to 10 feet apart.
