We have been serving Florida homeowners for about a decade. If its an insurance claim we handle and the insurance company directly and work our hardest to get your roof paid for. We also do retail roofs and repairs as well as anything having to do with your roof. From gutters to facia to soffit. Call today for a free estimate from an experienced pro. "I am extremely disappointed with this company and their lack of communication with their customers during the process. Everything seemed great and the staff were friendly when trying to receive the sale, but once the sale was received things spiraled from there. They did not check with the town to receive a permit for my neighbors portion (hip) even though they were aware that they were installing the roof of my duplex, my hip, and the neighbors hip per mandate from my HOA. They started the work without my neighbor’s permit, ripping off all of my shingles already. They have now stopped work and stated they could not continue until their is a permit for the second duplex and are leaving my roof undone. My HOA stated they gave the information to them. The roofing company said they’d call me that evening with updates. (I did not receive a call) It has been two days the roof has been left this way, and with a lack of communication and apologetic nature. I have heard no updates and asked for the owners direct line. I have not heard from the owner as well. This type of communication is unprofessional and the steps that were missed are unacceptable. I was promised the work would take no longer than 2 days and it has certainly exceeded that. Please save yourself from the headache I have dealt with during this already hard time of year."

Condensation can occur on the inside of a roof, but it should always be temporary. It does not necessarily mean there is a roof leak. Condensation happens when the inside and outside of a house are at different temperatures. Roofing materials are incredibly strong and resistant when overlapping, but any change in that can cause gaps where water can enter.

A cool roof can be worth it in the right climate. Cool roofs are excellent at reflecting solar heat away from your home, so if you live in a warm or hot climate, they can be a great roofing choice. Some cool roofing materials are even eligible for tax credits. However, they cost more than traditional roofing and don’t retain heat as well as traditional roofing, so they’re not ideal if you live in a cold climate.

Whether homeowner’s insurance covers repairs for a leaking roof depends on the cause of the leak. For example, it typically covers the leak in the case of a sudden or accidental event (think: a tree falling on your roof during a storm). However, if the leak starts because you haven’t kept up on the maintenance or your roof is reaching the end of its life span, then insurance usually does not cover it.

There are several pros and cons of flat roofs. One disadvantage of flat roofs is that you lose potential attic space because it's flat. Flat roofs tend to pool water and because they lack an angle, any leak in the roof—usually due to a bad seal—has the potential to let in a lot of water. They don’t work well in climates with snow.
