After being a customer for three and a half years, I brought my mower for repair. After being told they could not find the problem, I was told not to bring my mower back to them. Absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with. I brought in my working pressure washer for and engine oil change and pump oil change. After over a week (and me calling everyday) in the shop and an $80 fee up front they convinced me to do a full tune up which I did not want (charged $280 for tune up and wand—I argued it down to $200). Not only did they over charge me and upsell me but I missed out on 10 jobs because they did not make it a priority to fix my unit. And the best part is I got my unit back yesterday and there is no pressure. My unit worked before I took it to them and now it’s broken and they won’t even fix it. Terrible business model, terrible customer service, complete rip off. I would not recommend this company to my enemy.

As a previous reviewer mentioned, service stops at the register. Spent $30,000 on appliances with installation. During install called store during day 9 times. No answer, vmail , no call back. Really? $30k dollars! 80% of the time no one answered..asking for "manager" or owner is useless too. They have "better things to do"... Amazing .. What a missed business opportunity

Sears Appliance RepairThe thought of driving my mower up onto my truck bed was a little terrifying, and I wasn’t haven’t luck finding someone that came out to the house. But since it’s a craftsman mower I gave sears a call and they do house calls. Archie was the technician and arrived earlier, asked for a detailed history and got right to work. He diagnosed the problem, provided the estimate and time frame. I also asked for the blades to be replaced, and luckily he had a set on the truck, and I asked him to change the oil, too. He gladly added those to the to do list. Tractor runs great now, I’m very happy!- LISA S.

Sears Appliance RepairEverything a customer should expect from a service company (but rarely receive). Easily arranged at-home-service appointment online with service representative. Excellent communication thereafter via texts/email. On date of service the technician "Archie" phoned ahead to verify he was on his way and expected time of arrival (spot-on). Technician promptly diagnosed problem and effected repairs upon my approval after reviewing all options with me. Technician was knowledgeable, experienced (30+ years), articulate, courteous, neat and conscientious. Technician verified repair with me and left the work area spotless. The repair costs of my well-maintained, never-before-repaired lawn tractor were considered very reasonable and easily competitive (Service Call charge of $89.00 applied to repairs) especially considering what a new equivalent lawn tractor would cost. Repairs were effected on-the-spot without delay. I highly recommend their services and suggest you request Archie as your technician!- Bruce J.

Marks Mobile Lawn Equipment RepairI asked Mark to change my 3 belts on my riding mower in September 2020 because one of the belts broke and the mower would not run. After he completed the belt change/repair, I test drove the mower and noticed the clutch/brake did not work properly. Mark lied to me by saying that the belt flywheel had the old belt residue on it and it would take a week for the residue to burn off. I called him the next day and advised him the mower was stuck in gear and I couldn’t shift into neutral. Mark said he would come and fix the mower. I contacted him 20 times over the next six months and he failed to come back to fix the mower right. I advised him in March 2021 that I would get someone else to fix my mower since he refused to stand behind his obligation to guarantee customer satisfaction. I contracted another mower repair and they said the wrong belt was put on my mower and found more wrong with the mower besides the belts and they fixed it properly. I asked Mark to refund my money since he failed to guarantee his parts or work. He refused and told me to stop contacting him. He wanted to refund $40 for one belt when it cost me $400 to get the mower repaired right. I checked his business online and he is not licensed with the State of Florida or Hillsborough County or Pasco County, Florida, nor with the Better Business Bureau. I would stay away from this business, the owner lied to me, took my money, and refused to repair my mower over an extended period of time. I can provide documentation on the above.- Chris S.

Mac Daddy Sales and ServicesHours listed on web site are not accurate. I was told they were only open Tues, Wed and Thursday. I purchased the mower from Lowes and has a 2 year warranty. Mac Daddy is the only authorized dealer in the Tampa area. I took a day off to drive mower out to their location before my warranty expired. I encountered Tam and she was rude and made it clear if I wasn't spending money, I was wasting her time. Within 5 minutes of arrival, I was informed problem was not covered by warranty and I would need to pay $125 for a tune up. She had a young man look at it and he made this determination without a thorough inspection. When questioned how he could make that determination without even looking at the mower, he said he had seen other Troy Bilts and that was their issue. He also said we probably left the gas in the mower too long and it made the fuel line hard. The gas had not been in there over two months. I declined to pay for the tune up and left with the mower. A total wasted trip.- Lamonica M.

Mac Daddy Sales and ServicesFantastic service and support. Tamara, owner, even taught me how to use the pressure washer. She calls it Pressure Washing 101. I highly recommend Mac Daddy for repair of your pressure washer. They also repair a lot of lawn mowers and chain saws. This is the cleanest repair shop I have even been in.- Greg W.
