"I can't say enough great things about David with Springtime Plumbing. He's always on time, tidy, and very knowledgeable. He was very patient trying to troubleshoot some issues with my toilet and didn't leave until he felt confident we had fixed the problem."

"It was great! Even the pipes under my house were clogged and they cleaned them. I was amazed at the debris that was in those pipes but I watched the entire procedure myself. Some of the gunk had been there since the previous owners. Now I no longer have to watch when a toilet is flushed because all of my pipes have been unclogged and are running much faster. I would absolutely recommend "A New Beginning Environmental". Ask for Nelson because he really knows the details of his profession."

Customers say: Quick response

"Everything, from start to finish, was top-notch and professional. The owners came out first to assess the project and then sent the crew back a few hours later and they were able to take care of my sink clog pretty quickly. This company is one I would highly recommend and I will use them again should I be in need of plumbing services. Another company wanted to charge us almost double to do the work. Encinas Plumbing does superior work at a fair and honest price. Everyone I met on the Encinas team was professional, courteous with a high level of expertise. They cleaned up very nicely once the work was completed and sincerely appreciated my business."

Toilets questions, answered by experts

You should choose the type of toilet that meets your budget, fits properly in your space, and matches the rest of your decor. If you’ve never gone toilet shopping before, you might be surprised at how many options are available. Most homeowners choose a two-piece toilet, which is the industry standard, and a gravity flush system is the most common. However, dual-flush and low-flush toilets are becoming more prevalent as more people become conscious of water consumption.

If you need to repair part of your plumbing, it will cost an average of $330. The cost of plumbing repairs is influenced by several factors, including the type of drain and the specific repair needed.

Yes, you should screw your flange to the subfloor, including cement. The best way to get this done is to predrill holes into the concrete using a hammer drill and a ¼-inch concrete bit. Be careful when you’re ready to bolt your flange down, as you can accidentally crack it. You can avoid this issue by not installing the screws too deep. Or, you can opt for a flange with a stainless steel ring so you don’t have to worry about cracking the plastic.

Silicone-based caulk is known for its waterproofing qualities, so it’s the best option for any bathroom area. While it’s often more expensive, it will provide a better, longer-lasting seal than acrylic or latex caulk. Use it along the base of the toilet to prevent leaks and keep the area clean and protected.

The water in your toilet tank refills after each flush. So if you see dirty water in the bowl, you should check the tank to see if it’s coming from there. A dirty toilet tank can be the result of sediment in the water itself—-after all, the water will sit in the tank between flushes and can cause the interior to change into a dingy color. Faulty toilet components, like an old flapper, corroded tank lever or chain, or damaged seals, can also lead to dirty water as the materials break down inside the tank. You can clean the toilet tank or change out the old parts to give it a fresh start.
