The wallpaper was put on with some type of glue which we were unable to get off ourselves (we tried - in 4 hours we removed about 2 sq. feet). One contractor refused to bid. We were amazed that they were able to remove the wallpaper in a little over a day, using just water & elbow grease! They pointed out that the color we had selected wouldn't match the cabinet doors and recommended we paint them white.
