"My roof was embarrassing, now it looks brand new. Drew and his son also cleaned the house, pool cage and deck floor. I am so pleased with the all results. They also took great care of my plants and bushes. I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs their home spruced up. I will definitely use them again when needed."

"Chris did an excellent job with rodent removal. He was very professional and explained in great detail the things that needed to be done to prevent rodents from entering my attic. He took pictures both inside the attic and outside on my roof and under my soffits that illustrated openings that rodents could use to get into the attic. He performed his work in a timely manner and there were no hidden surprises or fees. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs wildlife removed."

"The previous crew that worked on my pool deck did a horrible job so a friend recommended me paverview. From there I met the owner Derrick who was genuine and professional guy. He gave me the look I wanted and top of that, he went above and beyond by putting this grip powder on the pool deck so my kids wouldn't slip and fall since they like to run around a lot. I recommend PaverView for anyone who wants a job done right!"

"I hired PTS to pressure wash the exterior as well as paint the interior and exterior. They did an excellent job and the team was great to work with. I really appreciated the daily recaps. They did a great job at cleaning up after themselves. I would definitely hire the again."

Deck Cleaning questions, answered by experts

The life expectancy of deck boards varies widely based on the material, climate, and maintenance. Untreated wood boards typically last 10 to 30 years with proper care, while pressure-treated boards can last up to 50 years. Hardwoods generally outlast softwoods. Composite boards also tend to last longer than natural wood. Environmental factors like arid or humid climates can shorten a deck's lifespan. To extend the life of wood decking, it's important to consistently clean and seal it to protect against moisture, UV light, and insects.

In most cases, your deck will need some form of deck footing to hold it in place, preventing moisture from rotting your wood and decreasing your deck’s lifespan. Concrete deck blocks are the most common type of footing for floating decks. Some homeowners use ground-level deck footings. For added security, consider digging and laying your ground-level footings below ground.

Homeowners should build their floating decks at least 18 inches off the ground. Having it at this height will allow for better airflow underneath and help prevent moisture-related problems like warping or rot. That being said, local guidelines for deck heights may vary depending on where you live.

Yes, deck pier blocks can be used as an alternative to traditional deck footings, particularly for small or low-to-the-ground decks. Unlike poured concrete and buried post footings, deck blocks don’t require digging or pouring. However, their use is regulated by local building codes, and they may not be permitted in areas prone to high winds, earthquakes, or hurricanes. Always consult your local building codes before choosing them for your deck project.

No, you don't need to stain Ipe decking, although you can if you want to change the color. You will, however, need to apply a UV coating if you don't want the natural color to fade. Speak to a deck staining specialist near you to discuss the best options if you want to stain your decking. And remember that you’ll need to seal your Ipe wood deck annually to protect it from scratches and Mother Nature.
