"I had Chimney Cricket out for a quote. The workman was very knowledgeable and I was ready for them to perform the work. They entered my home, reviewed the fireplaces, and told me how they would fix them. After that, I called and called. I called the gentleman who came to provide the quote. He couldn't help me. I called the office again and again. They said they would get me a quote. One never arrived. I had another company come out and repair the problems while still waiting for Chimney Cricket to continue the engagement. I finally got a call from the office (after I had had the work done) and she said she was following up on the quote. The quote they had never sent. The workman seemed knowledgeable, but I took the day off and let workmen into my house just so that I would spend time chasing them and STILL never receive a quote. If they cannot even get me quote, what are the chances they would show up to do the repair? Or follow up if something went wrong?"

Not to mention, they subcontract the work instead of employing the workers and pay them pennies on the dollar, expecting the work to be done properly. When I called their Los Angeles office, they reached out to St. Pete, and only then did they return to me via email. Being oblivious to what happened with his business the entire day, Orlando did not bother calling me even after realizing what happened. When I asked to talk to him several times, he finally called and offered to provide cleaning the following day. I asked him how he would like to be the guest who goes to a vacation rental with dirty sheets, kitchen, and towels. I also asked him where his commitment was to his business. Orlando must not have liked what he heard, as he hung up the phone and cancelled all future services quicker than I could. I had to leave my son with neighbors on my only day, Sunday, and head to the unit to clean it myself as a responsible host and a business owner. I would caution anyone from giving business to this irresponsible person. For the record, I asked for a phone call from the company and have yet to hear from them. So it is not only Orlando but also the company that has a similar attitude towards its responsibilities."

"Based on my experience, I would not recommend hiring A#1 Seamless Gutter Solutions in Tampa for gutter repair or installation services. We contacted the company to address a gutter leak affecting one side of our home. The company provided an estimate, and we proceeded under the assumption that the leaking section would be replaced. However, the $2,950 estimate was solely for patching the leaks rather than a full replacement. When two technicians arrived, our security cameras showed that they brought only a ladder and did not transport any new materials to the affected area. We were surprised that nearly $3,000 was billed for what amounted to basic patchwork. Upon inquiring why the gutter was not replaced as expected, the company stated that my husband had approved the estimate. He did so believing it covered a replacement rather than minor repairs. We made a partial payment of $2,000, expressing concern over the high charge and the circumstances—particularly given my husband's age (77 years old). They obviously took advantage of an elderly person. We proposed making the final payment after the next rainfall to ensure the repairs were satisfactory. Today, we received written notice that unless we pay the remaining balance, the account will be referred to collections with an additional $500 fee. We paid the final balance to avoid having to fight this company and spent even more money for legal fees!! I also attached a picture to see how small this area really is …… This company should be ashamed of how they do business! DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! If I could, i would rate this company a minus 5."
