We hired Intercoast Pool and Deck Refinishing to renovate our 30-year-old fiberglass pool and patio area. After first meeting Emma (the owner) we had high expectations for this project, and they exceeded our expectations. The pool finish is exceptional and looks better than when it was new, it’s hard to believe it’s the same pool. After the pavers were installed, Emma noticed that some of the pavers had dimpling and said that she couldn’t leave them that way. Another pallet of pavers was delivered, and the crew spent half a day replacing the dimpled pavers. This is a company that cares about customer satisfaction and quality workmanship. From helping us pick the materials and communicating with us during the process, we couldn’t have been happier with Emma and her crew. Emma, looked at our fiberglass pool that had been resurfaced with epoxy paint. Gave us a figure to correct the problem and stayed on schedule. The crew of Pat and Jeremy where fantastic! Actually finished the job early, checked and then rechecked again! Very important to us was they work for the company not contractor's! There service and warranty can't be beat! I will only use this company for our needs in the future!

Patrick and Jeremy were awesome. They were knowledgeable, paid attention to detail, kept us informed as to what they were doing, and seemed to take pride in their work. They ran into a slight problem with the drain and diligently worked through it to make it right. We had complete faith in them from start to finish. Emma and Alan are also great to work with. The guys were so quiet upon arrival, my dogs never heard them come through the gate and get set up! They were courteous and easy to talk with throughout the entire process. I was amazed when they did the sanding of my pool by hand.....no mess at all. The finished product looks better than when the pool was new.

I looked for more than a year trying to find the right company to perform repairs, and refinishing my fiberglass pool. After numerous estimates and extensive research, not one of the companies passed my qualification for doing the work I wanted done. THEN I ran across Inter Coast Pool! What a pleasure to find someone that has been in business for years with no bad reviews! I was told the men would begin my job on the 17th. However to my surprise, they not only started earlier than they projected but completed my pool on the 17th! The 2 men that came to start my pool was hard at work each morning putting in a full day before leaving each day, until completion! They determined the sitting area was thinner than normal for a fiberglass pool, and they decided to put double fiberglass in that area! I am convinced no one else would have taken the time or materials to do that extra step! I have seen so many night mares in my research with peeling! Making me a hard sell! I believe I hired the right company for my project giving them an A+ for their hard work! Way to go guys!! I am not one to post a review, but you deserve it!

Everything went perfectly. Alan and Emma are an absolute delight to work with and they did an outstanding job. They have a totally sweet Welsh accent, too!

Richard Joseph and his helper, Ron, did a great job!  Before they resurfaced the pool deck, they filled in low spots and drilled holes to correct long-standing drainage problems on the deck.  Recent heavy rains have confirmed what a super job they did on the drainage problems.  We've also let enough time pass to confirm that the new surface is as easy to clean as Richard said it would be.  Despite problems they had with the weather, Richard and Ron were diligent and punctual.  If any problem arose that delayed them, they called us and kept us up to date.  We've received nothing but compliments on the work they did and will not hesitate to use them if we need work done in the future.  They absolutely deserve the high rating they get on Angie's list.

Can't say enough good things about this company.  On time, delivered as promised.  A beautiful job all around.  We had an old lanai removed and a new one installed - they coordinated with the lanai folks to ensure the timing worked out (new lanais are installed over new pavers for a better look and drainage).  Even the lanai installers said it was one of the best jobs they'd seen, and they were with another company.  True craftsmen - I watched one of their installers shave less than a quarter of an inch from the coping that went around the edge of the pool just to ensure there were straight, consistent mortar lines.  When the paver delivery was delayed, Al called to give us an update.  We are looking at updating our front porch and I wouldn't go with anyone else.

The new deck is much improved and very attractive. They will be coming back soon to seal it.

Easy company to work with. After initial call, they came out within a few days to provide quote. Since we weren't sure what we wanted to do, they were very helpful in giving us ideas, showing us samples, etc. We decided upon a pool surface and patio paver style and color, and even decided to convert the pool from chlorine to a salt water system.
Each team that performed work was timely, did exactly what they said they were going to do, were very professional and friendly. They cleaned up the entire area after completion of each steip, and were sensitive to our conccerns about the front lawn.
All in all, a great looking patio and pool, and the salt water is better than I ever expected.
I'd recommend to anyone.

I had a pool service that wasn't treating the pool properly; the grout and tiles were coming off. They are an A+ company to work with.

I interviewed five companies for the project, and I was somewhat surprised that the estimates varied quite a bit as to the prices for the three aspects of the job. But in the final analysis, the estimates in total were not that far off. I was pleased with three of the estimates and the companies, but I chose Intercoast partly because it was the most consistent bid. That is, none of the three prices were highly over or under what I thought they should be for each aspect of the job, and overall, they were the low bid as well.
I found the representative (owner?), to be a thoroughly delightful fellow, and I must say, we hit it off. His daughter Emma works with him at times, while I believe his wife commands the phones at the office. That makes it a family affair, and I liked that aspect. Alan seems to have a great deal of experience and knew just what we had in mind.
The job kicked off with a thorough pressure washing by the team that eventually laid the concrete surfaces. A young man came the next day and cut channels and installed the new drains. The next day was dedicated to replacing the cracked skimmer assembly. Although these pool plumbers were subs, they had worked with Intercoast many times before, and they were very experienced and knew exactly what they were doing. I have 25 years in the hotel business locally, and I am no stranger to pools, pool plumbing and pool repairs. These guys knew their stuff, and the boss had over 3 decades of experience.
Next up was prepping my pool area and screen enclosure for the acrylic concrete. I was most impressed by the great care that was taken to mask any and all areas that shouldn't get resurfacing materials on or in them. It took the better part of a day. They also treated and filled all the cracks that had appeared over the years. The next two days were applying the decking material. A smooth, level undercoat came first and dried overnight. Then the texture coat was applied as a "knockdown" finish. Lastly, the acrylic deck coating was applied in the color of my choice. I had chosen to have them put down tape in a pattern that left a false grout line appearance in the surface. The results were fantastic! The crew that applied the surface were very experienced, and knew exactly what they were doing.
Since I have a screen enclosure that inhibits water from running off my deck, they even drilled drain holes in the slab in the back section, to help. I am thrilled that I will finally have a surface that is easier to clean and maintain than my kool deck ever was. The entire experience was smooth as silk from beginning to end. I felt at every step that I was dealing with highly experienced professionals that only knew one way to the job... the right way. Thank you, Alan!

They did an absolutely wonderful job. I was extremely impressed with them. They finished the work about a week ago. The guy we dealt with followed up on everything he said he was going to do. His service guy was here to supervise and made sure that everything was going on right. They contacted me by phone to make sure that everything was right. They were wonderful to work with. Their price was very fair compared to the other companies. I have recommended them to my neighbor, my brother-in-law and others. I would definitely use their services in the future too.
