"I did not get the same level of satisfaction from this contractor as the photos in these reviews reflect. This contractor performed unlicensed and unpermitted electrical and plumbing work, rerouting a drain line through a stair stringer, causing structural damage. The electrical was done using the incorrect gauge of Romex wire and the outlets were subpar per the electrician I hired to give me an estimate to repair. Electrical was run on top of studs and no kick plates where electrical was notched into the studs. All of this was covered up behind their drywall patches. I now have to have my entire kitchen rewired due to these damages at my expense. The drywall patches were made with tape and then textured over, no floating of the drywall joints and he wanted to charge me extra for that. Cabinets were assembled with gaps and crooked drawers. When called out on the unlicensed work he lawyered up. I'd think twice about using this contractor. Trying to get my money refunded."

"CAUTION Pleasant owner inspires trust. I was mislead in believing owner was part of the team. Later learning he is full time with one of the big DIY warehouses. So not a lot of QC or guidance. First day he brought assigned worker (lone star on all projects) by worker's admission. Project needs never discussed with worker. Kitchen and other projects quoted. Kitchen would take 2 weeks. Proceeded with small galley kitchen project requiring already assembled cabinets & straight (no miter needed) countertops. Narrow walls to encase fridge to be built. Fine textured finish would be applied to new sheetrock matching the existing walls. Except for sink- every single task had to be fixed. Cabinets crooked. Drywall was an absolute mess- I trusted owner who said it would be fixed. The worker gave another try- same issues now worse because some of the areas he sanded smooth. Tape was used for drywall edges that became warped with the wet mud spray. My stove was delayed so after he two weeks we agreed they would come back- install stove side and fix problems. I thought this could be saved so after the 2 weeks stupid me payed in full. After 2 more delays and my calling to see when work could be completed the same worker showed up. A hand saw was used to cut formica on top of a big box containing a yet to be installed tub in my living room. I requested next day the proper saw be brought. New formica was again cut on top of tub box. After straightening the crooked cabinets and installing the stove- I was done. I will hire new team to rip all that sheetrock and do properly as well as finish out my other projects. I would not hire if you have high expectations for your project."
