"It went very well! D & R concrete was very professional. They even assisted me with getting approval from my HOA. Once approval was given, they started the job immediately and finished in a timely manner. I would recommend that anybody that needs their services to choose D and R concrete. Their price was also very reasonable."

"Sgt. Stripes Asphalt did a fantastic job. I am in Kentucky and the job was in Georgia. They were very efficient, communicated with me. They did the job on the weekend so there would not be any traffic in and out of Post-Office parking lot. Their customer service and work great. I would definitely recommend them."

"This project was a success. I wanted to enlarge my current driveway and replace/repair another portion of the driveway. ACO (Kevin) did a great job of accomplishing this stated goal at a fair price."

Paving Services questions, answered by experts

Box fill refers to the maximum number of conductors that can be contained within a wiring enclosure box, as well as the total volume of the components. Determining the allowable number of conductors in a box requires adding up the number of conductors, clamps, support fittings, devices and equipment, and equipment grounding conductors to make sure you’re within the allowable volume.

Quality pavers and correct installation handle temperature variations. Proper maintenance is crucial in severe climates to prevent issues like heaving.

A 500-square-foot driveway can cost anywhere from $5,000 to $35,000, depending on the type of pavers you choose. Grass and concrete pavers are more affordable, while stone and cobblestone pavers are on the higher end of that price range. You’ll save some money by DIYing the installation, though we highly recommend sticking with a professional for this type of driveway installation.

Generally speaking, tiles are for indoor use, while pavers are for outdoor use. The main difference between travertine tiles and pavers is their thickness. Tiles are around 1/2 inch thick, and pavers are 1 1/4 inches to 2 inches thick.

Pavers are more rugged and can handle different weather. The extra thickness on pavers also makes them ideal for high-traffic areas.

You can expect your asphalt pavement to last anywhere from 20 to 30 years, or 25 years on average. The life expectancy of your asphalt driveway depends on the climate, the amount of traffic, and how well you maintain it. While you can’t necessarily control some of these factors, you can control the amount of maintenance effort you put into your driveway.

To prevent your asphalt from deteriorating prematurely, you should follow a good maintenance routine involving regular cleaning, reparation work, and resealing.
