"Very happy with their work! When scheduling and receiving a quote to mount two TV’s they were very responsive. Arrived right on time. Both were very efficient and made sure to confirm with me exactly where I wanted the TV’s mounted. Would definitely recommend working with Celocity Tech Services"

"Roger Camacho, Owner of the The Grove Handyman has been a top Angie's List source for many years. Damage to my two custom wood front gates and the need to get hurricane panels installed, brought to mind all the other tasks that needed to be done. Roger met with me to review my scope of work and within a couple of days of consistent, on time, quality workmanship, he accomplished everything! Roger, and his colleagues, are knowledgeable professionals, very polite and showed great consideration in the way they left my property tidy after each completed task. I am very impressed. I know he does much larger custom exterior/interior remodeling and I have finally found the person I want to work with on my future interior upgrades. I highly recommend The Grove Handyman, they are wonderful!"

"TJ and Jorge installed a Ring floodlight camera above my garage and did an amazing job! They communicated with me the entire time , advised me how the wiring would look, even checked in with me days after to ensure the camera worked correctly. I would hire them again and again"

Tv Mount Install questions, answered by experts

Professionals can provide alternatives, like using stands or no-drill mounts where applicable.

The cost to have a TV professionally mounted typically ranges from $160 to $360, with a national average of about $260. This price is for labor and does not include the TV mount itself. Several factors can affect the final cost, including the size of the TV and the type of mount used; for example, a fireplace mount costs more than an under-cabinet one. If you want to hide the wires within the wall, the price can increase significantly, potentially to $1,000 or more. For an accurate estimate, it is best to contact a local TV mounting service.

It’s highly recommended to use studs for a TV mount. The last thing you want is to be watching your favorite show when the TV falls off the wall. Studs are much stronger than drywall and quite a bit stronger than drywall anchors but, if you can’t find the studs or there simply aren’t any where you need them, you can use drywall anchors. It’s extremely important to make sure the anchors are rated for the load of the TV. We recommend using anchors that are rated far beyond the weight of whatever you’re hanging. Our suggestion is metal drywall toggle anchors.

The shorter the coaxial cable, the better. The further you run the cable, the more signal loss you'll experience. At 50 feet, you'll see significant signal loss, and by 100 feet, you'll experience at least a 30% drop in signal strength.

Yes, drywall can hold a 50-pound TV. However, when mounting a TV, you’ll either need to attach it to wall studs or use drywall anchors. If you use anchors, make sure to buy a type that can hold at least 50 pounds. Molly bolts, threaded anchors, and toggle bolts are all good options. For extra support, you can also install a wall mounting plate with the anchors.
