"Great experience! Scott spent nearly an hour going over what was NEEDED for my situation as well as what would help my yard overall. After we discussed every detail and I decided to go with Professional, Scott had one of his personnel out in less than a week. The job was accomplished in perfect detail even though I never spoke with the technician. Great internal communication. They even picked up some tree trimmings I had laid out for WastePro (which they left for 2 weeks). Also, very fairly priced! Well below other quotes. Great service and if I ever need a tree dealt with in the future I will call Scott first!"

"We would highly recommend Woods Tree Service. Ashley was very responsive, professional and accommodating. We had a dead pine tree (a victim of pine beetles ð ¢) in our small fenced backyard. We were able to immediately schedule an appointment for an estimate and received a quote the next day. The guys showed up on time and were very friendly and conscientious. Our tree removal was extremely difficult due to the height of the tree 60â + and itâ s proximity to our house and our fence. They did an amazing job! â ºï¸ Stump grinding was completed and they left the area clean of debris. Definitely a â ï¸ â ï¸ â ï¸ â ï¸ â ï¸ rating!"

"After a destructive storm, I needed several trees and a lot behind my house cleared. As always, Lance was the right call to make. He was there the next day, and he finished the job that day! The best part was he was fair on the price. I would recommend him to anyone that needs dependable, fair, and fast work."

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

No, you cannot throw branches from your neighbor’s tree back into their yard, nor can you discard leaves or other plant matter that originated from their yard back over there if it happens to land in your yard. You are responsible for cleaning up plant matter that made its way into your yard.

Palm trees will not regrow from a stump once the tree has been cut down. This type of tree is unique because the root and stump system will slowly decay after the tree is gone, unlike other species that can regrow. That’s why it’s preferable to remove dead or decaying palm tree stumps quickly as they can become an eyesore and don’t offer future growing potential.

It may be possible, but transplanting a large, mature tree can be a tricky project, and some trees handle it better than others. If you have a tree you need to save and are considering transplanting it elsewhere, we highly suggest calling a tree removal service and arranging a consultation to see what they say (and how much a full transplant would cost).

You’ll have to balance up the cost, the value of the tree (sentimental or otherwise), and the risk factors. An experienced arborist will help you understand whether transplanting is likely to be successful. The cost and hassle of transplanting a large, well-established tree are often not worth it, especially if the species is fast-growing and easy to source. The decision depends on the age and species of the tree, the conditions in the new site location, and how careful the company is when digging out and moving the tree.

The best time to prune Japanese flowering cherry trees depends on where you live and the type of flowering cherry tree. Some trees benefit from being pruned toward the end of winter or early spring, after the last freeze. Meanwhile, other trees do well after blooming, in late spring or early summer. Avoid pruning your flowering cherry tree in the early winter, as this encourages open wounds that can lead to infections or infestations.
