"They replaced the siding on my house after last years hurricane damage. Taylor tried to help me find the trim color i wanted but it was not available. His workers seemed competent and went over the final product for any areas to fix. My issue with them as i said in my first review was that 7 weeks later, after 2 phone calls leaving messages or text messages every week, i heard not a word back from him or his partner Ryan about picking up 2 piles of old siding left in the yard. After that long it seemed apparent it was intentional. It seemed like they had my last check and they weren’t going to return for clean up. I defended them to my husband that they didn’t do clean up but now it looked like he was right. The day after my last review came out I heard from Ryan. Taylors wife was very ill and that’s why these 7 weeks I didn’t hear from him. I’m sorry to hear his wife was so sick, but i still feel like sometime during those 7 weeks he could have passed my number to his partner for a call back. Team mates cover each other, we all have ups and downs in life. Of course i understand and overlook it, but an apology would be appreciated. Anyone would have been upset if they were in my shoes. I had no idea his wife was seriously ill. Taylor and Ryan are doing well with the construction skills, they need to maybe hire someone for callbacks,"

"Quick installation. They finished in less than two hours. Neat and courteous. I Later discovered they severed a sprinkler line while burying the cable. I repaired it myself but in fairness to them they offered to come back to repair any issues."

"We engaged Tropical Outdoor Solutions through our landscape architect for a total renovation of the exterior of our property. In addition to replacing nearly all plantings, our project involved laying new drainage pipes and installing entirely new irrigation and lighting systems. The results were at best disappointing. In many cases, Tropical was unable to obtain prescribed plantings, necessitating unsatisfactory substitutions. Some of these were so small that they stood little chance of surviving, including two trees that looked more like none too healthy saplings. Plantings were unevenly spaced in many places. Failure to level the ground after excavation created uneven turf. Sod was laid blocking two gutter drainage outlets. No irrigation was provided for an area of shrubbery. Metal edging had to be revised several times. Landscaping of a small atrium, part of the original plan, was never done. Tropical told us that the project would take about three weeks; instead, it dragged on for many more. The project lacked adequate supervision and monitoring of the work by senior personnel. Several requested adjustments were either not carried out or ignored completely. The attitude and behavior of some members of the crew were distressingly unprofessional We have spent the last several months trying to correct these problems, necessarily incurring yet more expense and time lost. We entrusted a six-figure job to Tropical Outdoor Solutions but were left with an incomplete and suboptimally executed realization of a carefully designed plan. We certainly would not recommend Tropical Outdoor Solutions for carrying out sizable landscaping projects."

"I hired them to do my irrigation then sod and made that very clear that my irrigation must be fixed before the sod would be installed. I reminded him of that about 5 times Ofcourse he didn’t listen and installed the sod and didn’t fix the irrigation. This is after leaving the broken irrigation on the entire night flooding my pool and patio with dirt. He said he would pressure was and clean up which he never did but I let that go. Then I sent messages every day to finish fixing my irrigation for the next ten days because he said it was all done when I paid him ten days prior most of my messages where ignored or he would say he would come the next day and finish but each time that was a lie. Ten days later I have been ignored I still have broken irrigation and so basically he stole my money without fixing the irrigation that I paid him to do. With one last effort I asked for $300 back which I paid $500 for the irrigation to be fixed he once again said he could fix it but never showed up and just ignored me ever since. He said he really cared about his reputation and his word is why I hired him in the first place but turns out his word means nothing. Do yourself a favor do not use this company and don’t let the positive reviews fool you because I highly don’t believe in the validity of those."
