"Justin and his crew at Sawyer’s Tree Works are an excellent team. They removed multiple big oaks around my property and over my house in a very safe, and timely manner. I would absolutely hire them again!"

"Exceptional work. Blake has a well-trained and well supervised crew, all actively involved in getting the job done right. Courteous, respected my property, took extra care to not damage underground lines. They cleaned up afterwards, all debris, raked leaves, and tilled garden so it is replant ready. They even blew off dirt on driveway. Great value for the price!"

"The entire crew were very knowledgeable, courteous and prompt. This team does not use heavy equipment to access the branches and limbs, which saves the yard from being torn up. The fact that they climb the trees takes a little longer, but not much. And the final product was amazing. They are highly recommended!!!"

"2/2022: We were in need of a tree trimming service (mainly from our neighbor's trees encroaching on our property). Action Enterprises of Pensacola was the first to respond from the recommendations of Angie's List. I am glad that we went with them. The free quote that Danny provided was very reasonable. Danny told me exactly what his crew was capable of doing and they did exactly what we contracted for and a wee bit more. Danny and his crew arrived within the agreed upon timeframe and got right to work with all of the equipment needed to tackle the job. They were very pleasant, quite funny and extremely professional. I am very pleased with the finished job. Thank you Danny Alvare and your crew of Action Enterprises of Pensacola for a job WELL DONE! I highly recommend them. Thank you again guys! Arborists questions, answered by experts

Unfortunately, palm tree stumps are one of the most difficult types to remove due to how their roots grow. Unlike other trees, palm tree roots grow horizontally and vertically. Palm tree roots grow as deep as three feet into the ground, although soil and growing conditions could mean they go as far as 50 inches into the earth.

If you want to be able to repurpose the grass in the area where you removed a stump later, you’ll have to dig quite deep—and perhaps wide—to trim away all the roots.

Burning a tree stump can be effective, but it comes with safety considerations and isn’t always best for every situation. It's essential to check local regulations and assess the safety risks involved. Stumps that are near wooden structures or other non-moveable flammable objects aren’t good candidates for burning due to the risk of the fire spreading. Alternatives like grinding or a DIY stump rotting project might be safer and quicker for getting the job done.

The average tree pruning should take one hour with the right equipment. Light pruning of a small tree may only take around 15 to 20 minutes. Pruning multiple large trees in your yard will probably take several hours, including cleanup. However, tree pruning pros can do this job much faster, so you can rely on pros if you’re short on time.

If the roots are still alive, the dead tree will usually try to put out new shoots. That doesn’t mean the tree will survive or that the dead parts of a tree will come back to life. If parts of the tree have died and turned gray or rotten, nothing will bring them back to life and they need to be safely removed.

Once you confirm a tree is dead, you should remove it. Dead trees eventually fall, and larger trees in particular can cause damage to rooftops, fencing, flowers, and other objects. As we mentioned, letting decayed wood stay in your yard also invites risks to the surrounding landscaping and vegetation.
