"We bought a new house and the pool was green when we moved in. We found Aqua Bear on Angie's List and gave them a call. Dave was very responsive and straight forward about what needed to be done and how long it would take to clear it up. We were so pleased that we have enlisted him for weekly servicing. As well, we hired him to modify a cabinet and install double ovens. Dave was great! We will definitely Look to Aqua Bear for future projects."

"One oven doesn't work at all ( my choice, see above), the "working" oven was never calibrated properly so using it is hit or miss. It's time to call American Home Shield to see about replacing the entire unit. I'm waiting to finish other home projects before calling them. I don't know if I'll request Greenway again."

"From the time APS Garage Door showed up at my home. I was very impressed on his punctuality, and courteousness. Vincent showed me different samples in catalogs of different types of doors. I ordered my door and he showed up two weeks later install and installed the door that I wanted and only 2 hours. Generally, you do not need to drain your pool to convert it to a saltwater system. The main exception is if you have used an antibacterial agent containing polyhexamethylene biguanide to sanitize your pool, as these sanitation products do not mix well with saltwater systems. If this is the case, you will need to start fresh. You can either drain the pool or treat the existing water with a high dose of chlorine to remove the antibacterial agent. If you choose the chlorine treatment, wait several days to allow the chlorine to work before proceeding with the conversion. If you are unsure whether this applies to your pool, consult a pool technician.

It’s best to avoid draining your pool onto your lawn for several reasons. Most importantly, your local municipality may not allow homeowners to drain pools in areas where it can seep into groundwater. Additionally, draining pool water on your lawn can cause erosion and damage your grass.

An easy way to know whether your sand filter has enough sand is to check how full the filter is and what the sand looks and feels like. The filter container should be two-thirds to three-quarters full of sand. Look for interior marks indicating the ideal sand level. If you put your hand into the sand, it should flow through your fingers without clumping.
