"OUTSTANDING! I can't thank Tony enough for the remarkable work he accomplished with stripping the paint from our sidewalk. Incidentally, he had to remove an oil-base paint which made the job challenging since it was there for years. Tony met the challenge head on and was relentless in making sure all the paint was removed. This brought our property back in compliance with our HOA. I can't thank him enough for the outstanding work he did for us. I highly recommend Stark Business Services and would definitely work with them again!"

"Erin came out himself to give me an estimate. He worked with me when the date of service changed due to other circumstances. He showed up right on time and his crew went to work immediately. The work was completed in about 2 hours and it looks beautiful. He took the time to see exactly what I wanted and did it. His price was very reasonable for all the labor he had to perform including taking away all the waste. His crew was friendly and respectful. We walked the grounds after his work and it was everything I expected and more. I am thinking of hiring him for my lawn care in the near future. I would definitely recommend him to anyone, he was great."

Sandblasting Services questions, answered by experts

Because these two systems have different applications, there is no definitive answer to which is better. When working with sturdy materials, sandblasting is cheaper and faster, but more delicate projects require soda blasting. Before choosing either option, consider your specific needs, particularly your ultimate goal (cleaning, removing rust, prepping for painting, etc.), the material, and your budget.

Costs depend on surface material, labor, debris disposal, and the type of blasting media used.

Sand is a common sublayer for hardscape features like driveways, paver patios, and more. Most projects that involve sand require a 1-inch layer to promote evenness, drainage, and weight distribution. For further drainage, most projects have a 6-inch minimum layer of gravel beneath the sand.

Regular sealing and repainting help maintain the restored surface’s durability.

The best way to sand a deck is by cleaning it, sanding the boards and stairs with 60- or 80-grit sandpaper, and sanding the railings and posts with 80-grit sandpaper. You should sand in the direction of the wood grain to avoid damaging the timber. When sanding your deck, use medium pressure and aim for an even sand. Pressing too hard with a sander can damage decks, as most are softwoods.
