We Maintain and Clean Residential Swimming Pools. We strive to build and maintain a long term relationship with our customers. "Sadly, this is not a good review, especially after I had come to expect better service after being with them for several years. There was a considerable amount of neglect with my pool, including, but not limited to: *No chemicals added *Build-up around the upper tiles indicating they were not sweeping/cleaning the pool *Build-up on the filter cartridge, indicating they were not cleaning the filter on a regular basis *Broken filter parts, including a bent rod, broken gaskets, missing rubber sealers, etc. I was advised that the last time someone attempted to get into the filter, they had to force it closed, breaking all the parts inside. *Vacuum not working properly because of all the build-up and broken parts in the filter When confronted with the issues, Mario’s true colors showed and he denied everything, shifting the blame to me and saying that it was all wear and tear. He claimed that there’s no way the metal rod from the filter can be bent by a human being (this was proven by at least 4 other pool professionals that this is false). Meanwhile, at no point during the past few months, did any of the employees approach me about parts needing to be replaced or that anything was wrong with the filter. It was neglect, pure and simple. He was "generous" enough to give me a pro-rated refund for February (which he has since rescinded, as it no longer shows up in my bank account), but when I attempted to discuss the $205 to replace all of the broken filter parts, he got extremely rude. I thanked him and told him to please enjoy all the negative reviews I’ll be leaving all over the internet. It's probably not worth it to pursue a civil court case to get my money back, but I figured the best thing I can do will be to leave reviews in as many places as I can, so people are at least aware that this can happen to them. So, thanks to Tony Garcia & G4 Pool Cleaning, I’ll be receiving weekly service from a family-owned business that actually cares about their customers, and that makes all of the hassle so much better. They helped me get my pool back to where it's supposed to be and I look forward to working with them."

To refill a hot tub after winter, start by opening up the tub and giving it a quick cleaning. If you use antifreeze, drain out the water then grab a hose and thoroughly clean the tub shell out, spraying water into each jet of the tub. 

Reconnect the hot tub and turn the power back on. When it’s time to fill the tub again, insert the hose into the filter well (if available). Avoid trapping too much air in the water lines, which can cause the pump to lock up when it starts again. Add the necessary chemicals and start the heating process. It will take some time—most of a full day—for the water to heat up again.

You should put chlorine in your hot tub on a regular basis. To keep bacteria away, keep the chlorine level in your hot tub at between 3-5 mg/l, which may mean you need to add chlorine daily or at least every two to three days. Don’t add chlorine to your hot tub water more than once per day.

A compact unit designed for two to three people typically weighs approximately 500 pounds in its empty state. On the other hand, a larger hot tub meant for up to six people can weigh around 1,000 pounds when empty. Materials used also impact weight. Less expensive hot tubs are typically lighter because they are made of molded plastic or fiberglass.
