"Hired MST for home demo debris removal.. They were able to deliver dumpster the following day (on a Saturdsy) which allowed me demo entire house and have debris carted away the following Monday, although it was 14 day rental period. Their pricing was competitive with other similar companies, but, were able to deliver sooner."

"10/10 service! I needed my old bed frame removed, so I called S & R. They were super polite, came the same day, and removed my bed frame from my house and into their dump trailer quickly and efficiently. They even helped set up my new one! They are extremely professional. I will definitely contact them again next time I need something removed. Once again, 10/10."

"Very quick to reply and easy to work with. Their truck broke down on the way to our appointment, so they were a few hours late from the quoted time, but were very efficient when they did finally arrive. I would use them again in the future."

"I work with a lot of haulers and cleanup crews, and this was one of the smoothest debris removals I’ve dealt with. We had several days’ worth of construction debris including demo material, lumber, drywall, flooring scraps, and general site waste that needed to be cleared quickly for the next phase of work. He showed up on time, communicated well, and handled everything professionally without any hassle or confusion. The cleanup was thorough, the site looked great afterward, and you can tell he takes pride in doing honest, legitimate work. respecting both the property and the people he’s working with. Reliable, efficient, and easy to work with."

Dumpster Service questions, answered by experts

Only throw soil in a dumpster rental if you have permission in your contract to do so. Organic materials such as soil often make the list of items that shouldn't go in a dumpster, but this depends on the agreement. Some dumpster companies will accept non-contaminated soil as well as rocks, yard debris, and compost.

Yes, construction materials like tile, lumber, drywall, and hardware can be disposed of in a dumpster, just not in your regular garbage. As you’re planning your project, just make sure to rent the correct size of dumpster based on the scope of your needs and be aware of weight limits. Tile weighs a lot (along with other construction materials), and your costs could increase if you exceed the weight limit in your contract with the dumpster provider.

Most municipalities allow dumpsters with proper permitting to sit on the street for up to a month, but you might need to file for extensions throughout that time to maintain your permit. You should always check with your local building department and your HOA if you’re a part of one to make sure you avoid fines.

No, you can’t place hazardous waste in a dumpster unless you specifically ordered a dumpster for hazardous waste removal. If the dumpster company finds hazardous waste that it didn’t approve for dumping, the company will return the waste to you, and you’ll likely face a fine for illegal dumping.

When deciding what order to pack your home, starting with non-essential items such as seasonal decor, rarely used kitchenware, and extra linens is always a smart idea. Next, pack decorations and out-of-season clothing. Then move to kitchen items, electronics, and bathroom supplies, leaving essentials for last. Finally, pack a "first-night" box with must-haves like toiletries, clothes, and essential documents.
