"I hired this company for lawn care. after a few months I noticed some brown spots on the lawn and called the office and said I believed it might be chinch bugs. The technician came out, said it was definitely not Chinch bugs, it was fungus and sprayed for bugs and fertilized. After 10 days the lawn was worse and we had a new problem of lawn burn from over fertilizer. Called the office, left a message and NEVER received a call back. Called another service and they showed me the live Chinch bug infestation and verified that the other problem was over fertilization. Never use these folks, they are great at excuses but lousey at service."

"I was very excited to sign up and had one application of perimeter pest control and lawn spraying. So I can't say the products don't work, however, be very careful when signing the contract as there is a clause that states if they feel it is necessary more treatments could be used and therefore cost you more money. It was a $110 error on my part for not being more attentive to the verbiage in the contract. I would expect any company would speak with the homeowner and tell them what is needed and why before they just apply and charge. Glad I canceled the contract and won't be recommending it for this reason."

"This is the most unhonorable company I have ever used. We have been paying $163 a month for lawn care/fertilization. Our front yard was maintained but the back was clearly not given the same attention. We had new sod installed in a portion of our backyard in Feb 2023 and were told they "knew how to handle new sod" and they would make sure it was treated properly. In May/June we noticed the sod started to turn brown/yellow. We notified McGuire of the issue immediately and finally someone came out to notify us of having to adjust our watering and that they "treated it". In July the lawn crew came to mow and my husband asked them if they could take care of the weeds we had growing in our new sod. To which they replied "sure we can do that". I watched them outback with a spray pump and within 2 days the grass had large patches that completely killed the grass. We have been in contact with them about these issues and they "looked into it". We were told that the lawn crew did not spray anything and that they don't even have spray pumps to carry around. So now I am a liar?? Why would I lie about something like this?? What an awful thing to do to a customer who has been paying you $163 a month to not even do the job properly. Several times they have had to come back because they couldn't even mow the grass properly. They would use a weed whacker instead of bringing the mower to the back. They would miss several spots, weeds in flower bed etc. They would come out after we put in a ticket but why would I even have to bother making sure the service I am paying for is done and done right? Ridiculous. I should have listened to the previous negative reviews. Now they want me to pay for KILLING my grass. Grass that I worked hard to pay for. Obviously they do not care. Especially when people will continue to pay these high amounts for a 10min half done job. I don't know what happened to customer service but it surely doesn't exist here. PLEASE TAKE YOUR SERVICE ELSEWHERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"Maybe great on your lawn, but don't let them in your house. This was an excellent company 10+ years ago. Had trouble with two different employees, giving out their personal biz cards and one offering to buy items in the house. Because of their history, gave them the benefit of the doubt, called them out for small pile of sawdust looking CARPENTER ant pile in a window sill, was told it was dust. Called another company who immediately knew it was carpenter ants. The new company reasonably charged (takes a couple visits) Destructive little bugs, call another company."

"I had carpenter bees. My former pest control company said they couldn't climb a ladder to spray. I called Hulett and they promptly took care of the problem, recommended maintenance to prevent future problems. I signed them up for ongoing pest control, and I have been using them for nearly 10 years. They come every other month and treat the exterior. Excellent company, very responsive to any issues - if we have any bugs inside, they are here immediately at no additional charge. Fair pricing. I have recommended them to all my neighbors."
