"David is an excellent handyman for families who are not able to perform skilled projects. He painted and installed a cabinet and shelves. Prior to this job, he made a sliding barn door out of two bifold louvered doors because I needed air flow to my utility closet, which houses my air conditioning return. He also installed the barn door track for me as well."

"Very well. Mr. Shifrin even came to our home on a weekend day to work on the washer, without charging an exorbitant fee. He did an excellent job pressure washing our metal roof. It is steeply pitched, and he worked safely, yet did a thorough job of it."

Deck Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Choices include wood, composite, and hardwoods, each with unique benefits.

Applying too much sealer to a deck might seem like extra protection, but it can cause more harm than good. Wood is a porous material with a limited capacity to absorb liquids. When you go overboard with sealer, the excess can't soak in and instead forms a film on the surface. This leftover layer is prone to peeling, cracking, and trapping moisture, ultimately defeating the purpose of sealing in the first place.

Yes, designing builds to fit space constraints and meet functional needs.

The most likely causes of a deck leaning to one side are damaged deck posts, soil erosion, and inadequate deck footings. If you’re not sure about the exact cause, the best option is to call a contractor who can build a deck to inspect the damage and recommend the best way forward.

Rot loves moisture, so deck rot typically impacts the parts of a board that stay wet. This includes the underside of boards, in addition to support posts and joists. However, any part of a board can rot, given the right conditions.
