"My irrigation controller blew up from lightning and need it replaced. Chris with Affordable Irrigation cam out on Father’s Day and started working on the repairs. Not only did he install a new unit, he replaced all the damaged wiring to the different zones and made sure everything worked properly including adjusting the spray nozzles. Chris did such a great job, I plan on getting on their yearly maintenance plan. The pricing was far less than expected. You will not be disappointed hiring these guys."

"Summary:
High quality work. Expert diagnosis of problem(s).  Pricing is fair and highly competitive.  Easy scheduling by phone or internet.  On time arrival, often same day service.  Also has 24/7 emergency service.  A full service plumbing company – not just drain cleaning.  Their $55 drain or sewer cleaning special is a great deal; not a bait and switch.
Carlos (supervisor/plumber) is personable, intelligent, highly experienced.  I trust them.
Details:
During last winter’s flash flood my back yard filled with water and the storm drain from yard to street was plugged up.
Water was flowing across my patio toward the living room sliding glass doors (and then to carpets and hardwood inside).  I called Pioneer Plumbing – Carlos came right over and cleared the blockage, saving me a flooded house.
He returned the following day to hydrojet that drain line to entirely clear all mud, roots and blockages to ensure that would not happen again.  While here he noticed that several long galvanized pipes and joints were rusting through and had not been replaced by the company I had paid some years ago to do a complete copper repipe.  Moreover, the drain line from the kitchen needed replacement as did the rusting iron "stack” (8 ft high junction of all sewage and water drain lines to the main
line to the street).   Carlos returned with a crew of 3 and replaced all those lines, the stack and the under-sink pipes.  Big fast-working crew minimized the time our water was shut off and toilets unusable – much appreciated.  Total clean-up and removal
of old pipes; no mess left behind.  Clean & polite personnel.  Very professional.
I trust them and I will have them take over plumbing work on my rental property as well.

"Plumber was prompt and arrived when scheduled.  He unclogged my bathroom pool toilet.  He then gave me a price for the installation of a laundry tub.  He came the next day and neatly broke through the garage wall to get to the pipes to be able to install  the laundry tub.  This precise cutting of the sheetrock made it possible for my husband to reinstall it  without any problem.  I would recommend this company and will use them again."

"They found the leak which was a leaking valve in the waste (dump) line. They would have come back to replace the valve but I was able to do this myself. It seemed to me that they had the right equipment, methods and expertise to find where the leaking problem was. I knew it was when the pump was running and the lines were pressurized but had no way to locate it.

"What impressed me was his honesty about how we could save money but not sacrifice quality. He installed the new tile right over the old tile on the floor, saying it would save us hundreds on removing the old tile, save us in the mess of dust from the saw, and time. He was right!
Our new tile looks spectacular. It makes me and my wife want to shower in the "new bath" instead of our master bath.
They were on time, did excellent work, were friendly and honest. I trust JP

"Joe from JMS Drain Services was my service technician who arrived well within the window scheduled service time. Joe came in, inspected the sink to determine how to resolve my issue, took out the tool (snake apparatus) to clear the sink, and departed my premises within 15 minutes. I was pleased he resolved my clogged sink so quickly so I could rest after a night's work. Thank you again, Joe."

Sink Installation questions, answered by experts

Some of the most common plumbing problems in mobile homes are frozen pipes, leaking pipes, clogged drains, and low pressure. Since the pipes in a mobile home aren’t as insulated as those in a standard build, they’re more susceptible to fluctuating temperatures and damage.

No, you don’t need to use plumber’s putty to install a sink drain. Other options are available, such as silicone putty or silicone caulk. Plumber’s putty is the traditional method and it’s easier to work with and easier to remove. It doesn’t need to dry before using. Silicone putty should dry before you use the drain.

Kitchen plumbing repairs range from simple to complex, with the costs reflecting that variety. Some repairs require a new part, while others call for replacing an entire appliance. For example, some of the most common kitchen plumbing repairs include:

  • Dishwasher: $75–$600

  • Garbage disposal: $75–$400

  • Ice maker water line: $100–$200

  • Kitchen sink clog: $100–$400

  • P-trap repair: $200–$325

Any drain in your house requires a water trap to prevent sewer gases from entering the home. Dishwashers don’t have an internal water trap, so they must use an external P trap. The most convenient P trap for the dishwasher is already in the plumbing under your sink.

Yes, there are different size sink drains, but a 1 ½-inch-diameter drain is the most common modern drain size. However, some sink drains are 2 inches or 3 inches in diameter. A bathroom sink drain is 1 ¼ inches in diameter, and kitchen sink drainpipes are 1 ½ inches in diameter.
