He called about 8 p.m. on a Thursday night and asked about the project and stated that he would send an estimate when he arrived home as he was driving while speaking with me. Within 2 hours an estimate arrived via email. The estimate was thorough and explanatory. I had a few contractors coming out on Friday to give me estimates. I called him Saturday mid morning and spoke with him about the job. I accepted the bid via the Saturday call. Rick told me they had a delay with another job as their cabinets that were to be installed had not yet arrived and they could start the project on Monday. (3Days from the initial quote). Branik Construction did in fact start the project on Monday. Keith and his son arrived on time and finished the job by Wednesday afternoon. After going through multiple other handymen and being asked to donate a kidney to have my kitchen put back together, I reached out to Taylor & explained everything my family had been through up to that point. He very quickly got us an estimate for a much more reasonable price and was able to get us on his books for the very next week. He would’ve done sooner if he could! The repairs were completed quickly, everything looks great, communication has been on point, and he was even mindful of my tenants sleeping babies while he was working. "On November 21st I got to see some real professionals so let me say thank you to start. I thought I was a good roofer but seeing this team made me rethink efficiency and teamwork and I always appreciate reality checks. Those guys were here ready to work and I was greeted by Omar and a gentleman from Texas that I cannot remember his name. Both were very conversational and cordial like they were both guests at my house. The work started at 8:00 am with at least 8 young folk here stripping off the old roof and they worked right through their lunch. I pointed out to Omar that I wanted to trim one of trees with branches overhanging the roof and when I walked out to do it, that task was already completed. I did notice the degree of tarp use in keeping the site clean and the attention everyone took to make sure it stayed that way. They stripped the roof, replaced the plywood that needed replacing and installed the new shingles with just as much care, even with the guy that came out periodically to see the progress. I noted that they were very careful not to hit that guy when he came out! Then the clean-up started with as much vigor and frankly, I have never seen anything like it. Everyone participated, had the same attention level and treated the yard like it was theirs. They were done by 5:00 pm and I have only found one nail since then. Of course, I tipped them but did not think I tipped them enough! I would thoroughly recommend Guy Brothers Roofing for any job that they took on because of the level of service, the level of great work and the level of respect that the entire crew demonstrated on the 21st.
