Apparently several years ago when vinyl siding was applied to the house, company had removed the original column and just put a hollow vinyl column which was slowly bending from the weight of the roof.  Mr. Blatz immediately identified that the roof was sagging, was able to move the column, he open up the vinyl column, installed a treated wooden column at the correct height, than rewrapped the column and anchored the column to the porch floor.   All was accomplished in the matter of a few hours.  Water is no longer leaking from the gutter onto the pavers and washing away the sand beneath them.  He was very knowledgeable, professional, and courteous.  Definitely a contractor that I would hire again no matter what the price due to knowing that the job would be done right.

Gary Blatz is extremely friendly, professional and easy to work with.  He was able to fit me in right around the holidays.  He was honest about the extent of the damage and was able to complete all of the repairs within the time frame and estimate he provided.   This was a very pleasant (if termite damage could be called that) experience and I will be calling him for future projects.

I am calling him back to do more work. He was very professional. He arrived when he said he would. The work area was always left very clean. He would call us back right away. He does all the work himself along with his son. His prices were very reasonable as well.
