On November 21st I got to see some real professionals so let me say thank you to start. I thought I was a good roofer but seeing this team made me rethink efficiency and teamwork and I always appreciate reality checks. Those guys were here ready to work and I was greeted by Omar and a gentleman from Texas that I cannot remember his name. Both were very conversational and cordial like they were both guests at my house. The work started at 8:00 am with at least 8 young folk here stripping off the old roof and they worked right through their lunch. I pointed out to Omar that I wanted to trim one of trees with branches overhanging the roof and when I walked out to do it, that task was already completed. I did notice the degree of tarp use in keeping the site clean and the attention everyone took to make sure it stayed that way. They stripped the roof, replaced the plywood that needed replacing and installed the new shingles with just as much care, even with the guy that came out periodically to see the progress. I noted that they were very careful not to hit that guy when he came out! Then the clean-up started with as much vigor and frankly, I have never seen anything like it. Everyone participated, had the same attention level and treated the yard like it was theirs. They were done by 5:00 pm and I have only found one nail since then. Of course, I tipped them but did not think I tipped them enough! I would thoroughly recommend Guy Brothers Roofing for any job that they took on because of the level of service, the level of great work and the level of respect that the entire crew demonstrated on the 21st. Guy Brothers was a subcontractor for the project. The job site was an active residence with pets, but the job site was left a mess with nails, metal shards, insulation, and other construction debris every day. Workers left food scraps and containers in the yard. Underlayer board precision was fair. Did not replace the rotten siding under the main electrical panel; this was a decision of the primary contractor and not of Guy Brothers. Minimal cleanup after the project was finished.

Very well. From sales, to project management and finally to the execution and cleanup everyone was polite, eager to please and did a very good job! I highly recommend Guy Brothers.

Guy Brothers were excellent, especially Donnie Jeffers, the Project Manager. He kept me in the loop every step of the way. He introduced me to Everlast siding a tremendous product. The installation crew, Phil and Reilly, were very courteous, detailed and did a great job-- looks great!

It was a seemless and pleasant experience from Joel in sales to Donnie the site supervisor. I had daily communication with Donnie and he was very patient and understanding of my questions and concerns. The crew were friendly and did a beautiful job!

Our condo association selected Guy Brothers Roofing to reroof our four buildings. They did a fantastic job, and we could not be more pleased with the result. Before we began the project, they advised us on which roof styles would and would not work for our four roofs, carefully explaining the pros and cons of each, based on their experience. This greatly aided our decision-making process. The roofers adequately cleaned up the inevitable trash they generated during the project. Mike DuPont, who was our project manager, kept me informed on the status. He always replied to phone calls and texts speedily. This work was done in a timely manner at a competitive price. I highly recommend Guy Brothers Roofing and Mike DuPont for roofing.

I would not recommend Guy Brothers to complete your roofing project. My family has had nothing but issues since we signed the Notice of Commencement May 23, 2022. We were told in the beginning by both Colin, our sale representative and Nate that our deadline of 29 Jun to have the roof installed was doable. We are now a month behind schedule. Colin, did a great job inspecting our roof and provide great feedback on the condition of the roof. During our conversation, we spoke about the drip edge, as it is current country red. He stated that the only color available was white. I found out that was not true about 1 week after we started the process. I contacted Colin multiple times through text messaging and phone calls; but never got a response from him. My husband also tried as to make contact with him in the same manner and never received a response from him either. After a week of being ignored, I called the office and spoke with Nate. He explained that there was availability for colored drip edge but it would take 2-3 weeks to come in. I then stated that if we had been provide the color option 2 weeks ago we would have been able to take advantage of that option. However, because we were not provided with accurate information, if we choose to order the red drip edge now that would push our installation past the 29 Jun deadline that our insurance company given us. We moved forward with the white drip edge so that there would be no delays. Then on 3 Jun, we found out there was a delay with filing the notice of commencement. Our information is block with the county property and appraiser’s office. We knew this and tried to provide Colin with the signed back on 25 May. My husband tried to tell him that they would need the signed release to put the mechanic’s lien on the title. When Norma filed the lien on the property it was rejected. She then contacted my husband and had him send in the signed release. It took another week for the country to complete their process and send the necessary documentation back to Norma. This error on Colin’s part put our project a week behind. Installation was to be completed by 6/29. We are now 2 months into this project and it is still not completed. There have been promises made by Guy Brother Roofing with no follow through or communication from anyone. I have called the office multiple times and spoke with Nate, Linda, and the sales manager and been told let me get that answer for you and call you back. I have yet to receive a phone call back from anyone in regards to the progress of the installation and when it will be completed. We have had supply delays, installation delays, communication issues with materials that were installed incorrectly. We have also been told to contact our sales rep on several occasions directly and we have tried and Colin has yet to ever return a phone call or provide us with any updates on our project as well. I choose Guy Brother’s base on A+ reviews and their 49 years in business. We have not experienced the A+ service that is mentioned in their reviews. They put a great up front façade but the back end really is disappointing. As of today 26 July, my chimney still have not been completed, my insurance company won’t give me another extension, my HOI policy will be cancelled as of 7/29 and they are holding up my HELOC for the additional home improvements that need to be made to our home. There are no appropriate words to describe my frustration with the process. All I know is that if I acted like this in my profession, I would not have a job. By the way, the ladies that work in the office have been very friendly and very understanding with my frustrations.

This was the worst experience of my life! We paid Guy Brothers Roofing to replace our entire roof (house is 2000 sq. ft. one level). The whole thing was installed incorrectly, and we had to replace the whole thing... all of it. Keep in mind there were leaks, then they would come out, then more leaks, over and over again. We finally had an inspector come out, and were told the whole roof was installed wrong. We had to pay for a completely new roof.

I signed a contract with Guy Brothers in November. The employe (Doug Schumaker) told me that I didn't need a new roof and just needed minor repairs. He said he'd be out the following week to do the job himself. Weeks passed, I contacted Guy Bros who were no help at all. They told me to deal directly with Doug. I contacted Doug at the end of December and he told me he'd be out in January. January came and went, nothing. I, once again, contacted Doug in February and he told me he'd be out the following week. Again, nothing. It is now the end of March. I understand that it's a busy time. There are many people who need new roofs. Fortunately, my roofing issue is not too severe. If Guy Brothers/Doug had been straight with me from the beginning and told me it would be several months, that would have been fine. Instead, I've been strung along time after time. No communication is made unless I initiate, at least that's how it was. Now, Doug won't respond at all. Guy Brothers is a TERRIBLE company. Stay far, far away. They don't deserve your business.

The men did a wonderful job ,they worked so hard in the hot august sun . I am very happy with the job they did on the roof ,it looks great ,They also picked all debris as they worked and left my yard looking good.They will be doing a 3rd house for us in October.

Guy Brothers re-roofed our house after Ivan, and we're learning just how terrible a job they did as we're having the roof replaced again today. We wondered why the roof looked warped and got worse over the years, but didn't think to question as we thought Guy Brothers knew what they were doing. We re now finding that their work was not complete (like they didn't nail down the plywood boards underneath the shingles - isn't that basic roofing?). As the new company delves into this replacement we're learning a whole lot more of what a poor quality job they did. At the time we had no clue (how are you to know these things when you can't "look under the hood" when it's done?) - but we are extremely disappointed and would not recommend them.

My new roof is wonderful. However, I have a few concerns which resulted in a C for professionalism. First, the roof estimator, who reviewed our needs with us, did not check on progress, or offer additional guidance regarding the roof repairs until the end of the day. Since I had a plywood board that needed repair, it would have been nice if a carpenter or supervisor was available that day before they laid the roof. The repair was completed but it took the better part of a week for the entire roof to be finished. My second concern was the poor prep work by the roofers. The team was a man short and they did not use enough tarps to cover the yard and pool completely before starting work. I had so much debris in my pool which was time consuming to remove. I'm still finding debris in my yard months later. My third concern was my specific demand: I asked the carpenters and final roofing team not to smoke on the roof as they were working. If they were going to smoke, I asked them to please clean up after themselves. I found cigarette butts and other trash and tools on my roof after they left. I find that disrespectful to the client.

The unusual amount of daily rainfall this year made it difficult to get the job done quickly but as soon as possible a 6 man crew arrived and worked from early morning until dark. Unknown to us the roofers who did the previous job after "Ivan" did not remove the undercoating so both layers had to be removed in order to reach plywood. The new roofs are a great improvement aesthetically and structurally.

Excellent company to work with.   They have been in business a very long time and stand behind their work.

Did not show up when promised had to call three times, company did not notify me of date changes. Also charged me fifty dallors more than price quoted. Some minor problems with actual work done (nail protruding pushing up shingle, one place repaired shingles not glued down where employee pushed them up.

Came out fast, was prompt to give us a good quote. We haven't decided yet who to get our roof done by yet but we were very happy with them as of now.
