Transparent Roofing was created from the experiences I encountered as an employee in the industry. As a father and main provider for my family, I was unable to guarantee when and if I was going to get paid. That, combined with hearing my clients horror stories and knowing the industry has been tainted by scams, broken promises, and deception, I had to make a difference. I established Transparent Roofing with the goal of creating a culture built upon trust and commitment to doing the right thing. It is my mission to provide a positive work environment for my employees and a zero gimmick, high quality roofing experience for the Greater Tampa community. Thank you for the opportunity to share my story! My promise to you is if you give us 10% of your trust... we will earn the other 90%!

"I wish I had seen the previous review because I believe every word. Go elsewhere!! Do not get fooled by Rich Matthews. Transparent roofing did my roof, and it was a horrible experience that I do not wish upon anyone to have to deal with. A complete disaster from the beginning. Too many to list. It rained extremely hard the day they put my roof on, and they could have cared less about the fact of my exposed roof and wood being poured on, OR that water was dripping through my air conditioner vents from the ceiling. Areas of my ceiling were saturated with brown spots and stained. My ceilings which then had to be primered and re-painted AGAIN by my husband because the three guys that showed up to fix that mess were clearly some random guys in a little hatch back car who were not legit painters at all, and were probably some random guys looking to make a quick buck. Multiple communication barriers. Rich made it seem this was going to be so smooth and he’d take care of us and this was all going to work out great when he was trying to get our business. He sent over some 2 star crew. Don’t even know who or what company they worked for either. Not one of the roofers could speak any English. They showed up with one of their children who was maybe 8 or 9 and they had her sit on my front porch the entire time they worked on a ripped out cushion from the dilapidated work van they showed up in. This definitely was not what I envisioned as how it would be when getting a new roof. They also did not understand why or what they were even coming back to fix. Multiple times of coming back to fix things that should have never been done wrong in the first place, and the main issues were never actually fixed!! My roof is barely 1 year old, and it’s still leaking from the attic in my garage. The owner Rich is no where to be found anymore. I’ve called, texted, emailed and no response. Now, I have to worry about my roof every single time it rains. Do not do business with Rich at his so called “Transparent” Roofing company. He is anything but. Save yourself the stress and money and do NOT get work done by this company. If it even exists anymore."
