"You can’t find a better company to take care of cleaning your home! We have had the privilege to use Florida Deep Cleaning for 3.5 years as a scheduled every 2 week entire home cleaning with deep cleanings biannually. They care for your home as if it’s their own and will modify their style of cleaning as requested. The only reason we will no longer be able to use them is that we are moving out of state. Laercio and Rosangela take pride in their work and it shows. I have used other cleaning companies in the past and they can’t compare. Their warmth and kindness to my family will be greatly missed. Don’t hesitate, use Florida Deep Cleaning!"

Cleaning questions, answered by experts

No, house cleaners or cleaning services do not need to be certified or licensed. Each state has its own requirements for licensing and certifications for companies, but most states don't require any special training to clean a home. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local guidelines for house cleaners and cleaning services.

If you're already planning to hire an electrician and you know that you'll get billed the minimum call-out charge, you might as well make the most of it by having the contractor do another small job like replacing a light switch or electrical outlet. Even if you're paying for a new coaxial outlet, which costs several hours in labor, you may be able to save a little or maximize value by getting them to do other related jobs. For example, if you're having a coaxial cable moved, it's worth checking if you also need another electrical outlet in the new location or considering where else you would benefit from a new outlet . The cost to install an electrical outlet is around $200.

The main difference between a general cleaning and a deep clean is that a general cleaning focuses on regular maintenance, while a deep clean hones in on the nitty gritty details of cleaning that may not impact your day-to-day life. For example, it’s important to wipe down your counter and have a clean place to cook regularly, but you may not think twice about pulling out your stove to clean behind it until it’s time for a deep cleaning.

Yes, you can use household cleaners on silicone caulk, but opt for mild, non-abrasive cleaners. Solutions like vinegar and water are effective for tackling mold and dirt. Avoid cleaners containing ammonia or harsh chemicals because they can damage the caulk. Always test a small area first to ensure the cleaner doesn’t cause any adverse effects.

Typically, professional organizers do not provide cleaning services like vacuuming or dusting. Their primary role is to declutter your home by rearranging items, maximizing storage space, and helping you decide what to discard. However, some larger companies that offer professional organizing may also provide home cleaning services, and hiring a company for both can be more economical. Hiring an organizer is a helpful way to reset and tidy your house, making it easier to stay on top of cleaning in the future. You can also hire a local cleaner to come in after the organizing is complete.
