"Tech was able to tell me what the error code meant but did not want me to order part until testing with volt meter. Diag appointment with volt meter did not cost extra. Tech gave me part numbers and it fixed the problem."

"They came prepared with all the tools they needed since the first day. The owner was constantly supervising the job and talking to us to make sure everything was according to what we had talked about. It is a job that requires a lot of attention to details and even more if you decide to stain the floors to change the color. Once they sanded the floor, everything else was fast and easy. As homeowners, we care about the products used in our home, so we felt very good with the fact that all the products that this company uses are environmental friendly and not harmful to humans. Their work on the doors and frame show a high level of expertise. The quality of their work is absolute perfection. Hardwood floors never looked better."

"Mr. Tomaini did an excellent job from start to finish. His tile work in our bathroom was done to our exact specifications and we are not always the easiest clients. He worked with both me and my wife to give life to the design we wanted and did so in a timely manner. I would recommend his services to anybody looking for a hardworking and professional tile man."

"Provider  arrived on time and also verified time and address prior to the date.  He knew his product and explained the work and the timing required to do the job.  I was not able to do the work with this company due to restrictions from the association. Due to their professional and timely estimate I would recommend this company.

Percolation Tests questions, answered by experts

Since the EPA partially banned asbestos in 1989, it is no longer used to manufacture new siding in the United States; production had largely ceased by the early 1980s. Many other countries, such as Canada, Iceland, and Denmark, also have bans on asbestos. However, asbestos siding is still present in many homes built before the late 1980s. The only definitive way to know if your siding contains asbestos is to have it professionally lab-tested.

Depending on the size of your home, the inspection process could take a few hours or a few days. While inspecting your home, the asbestos specialist will take small sections of the potentially contaminated material. They will then send the sample to an accredited laboratory or the local health department for testing.

The cost of asbestos testing depends on your location, the home's size, and the testing area's complexity. Plan to spend between $230 and $800 for testing. During testing and while handling potential asbestos, the specialist may wear protective gear, including gloves, overalls, appropriate footwear, and respiratory equipment.

Asbestos is commonly found in certain older homes, depending on the time period in which they were built. Asbestos use in home construction began in the 1920s and peaked after World War II before being limited by legislation in the ’70s, so a house constructed in 1880 is unlikely to contain asbestos, while one built in 1950 is much more likely to. Research a home’s history to determine the time period when it was built and any renovations made since.

Federal law doesn’t require homeowners to disclose the presence of asbestos in their home, but some states and local municipalities may require it. That is why it’s important to test an older home for asbestos and other health hazards before moving forward with a sale.

Epoxying over asbestos tiles is generally considered a safe option when done correctly. Epoxy acts as a sealant, encapsulating the asbestos tiles and preventing the release of asbestos fibers into the air. The key is ensuring that the asbestos tiles are in good condition, firmly adhered to the substrate, and not damaged or deteriorating. This method is only appropriate for tiles that are undamaged and securely in place. If the asbestos tiles are already loose, damaged, or deteriorating, encapsulating them with epoxy may not be a sufficient solution, as it might not address the potential for ongoing asbestos exposure.
