"The job was more extensive than originally anticipated. Travis with MainLine Remodel kept me in the loop the whole time and explained recommendations and followed up with pictures. Travis and MainLine Remodel went above and beyond. I live out of town and rent the property. It was very reassuring to have someone there I can trust to do a quality job and to identify areas of concern. Travis identified an improperly installed window that was leaking. He and his team corrected the issue. The incorrectly installed window/leak was not identified by property managers hired to manage the property in the past. Due to the good work, I had the MainLine team do some extra handyman tasks while onsite (e.g. check on a leak spot on the bathroom ceiling). I am very happy with the work performed by Travis and MainLine Remodel. The job was not cheap, but I know I paid for quality work. Eric was fantastic from the very start. We had a long interview one afternoon and he impressed me with his enthusiasm and ideas on how to and quot;updateand quot; my old kitchen. It was built in 1975 and had two narrow passageways at each end of the boxed in kitchen.His bid was also most impressive, being about half the cost of other contractors, and this was something I could afford.
A few days after signing the contract, he came in with a crew and isolated the work area with plastic sheeting. I had a small area in the living room where we put the refrigerator and microwave. I was amazed at how fast they gutted the kitchen.
Reconstruction began immediately. The new ceiling was installed and the duct work completed in short order. Eric helped me pick out the colors and granite. I have no sense of decor so he would bring samples over for me to inspect.. His guidance and advice were invaluable. I think he could be a professional interior decorator as well. The sub-contractors he had helping him were all top quality. Eric seemed to know how to do every job as well as the electricians, plumbers, carpenters, etc., and he did a great job of making sure the work was done up to his standards. It is indeed satisfying to see a man take such pride in his work. He has restored my faith in the great american work ethic. I am a happy customer, and would recommend Eric without reservations."

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
