"Jame came promptly and did a great job trimming and thinning my 40 ft Queen Palm tree. He also cleaned up the mess very well, leaving the yard to look just as fabulous as it did before he came."

"My wife and I recently bought a house in Cape Coral. We were very lucky to find Modern Cuts. Antonio, Hailey and the rest of the company have been a pleasure to work with. Very professional, quick to respond and willing to help out with anything and everything they can. Antonio can do just about anything you ask him. And if he can’t do it, he knows someone who can. Highly recommend to everyone."

"I am very, very happy with the work that Enviable Turf's crews did installing artificial turf in my backyard. There were many areas to work around and tough oak suckers and palm seedlings to remove, but they persevered. Every stage of the job was done exceptionally well. Feedback explanations on: dog use and care were explained and helpful recommendations made. The work was done within three days and all of the equipment and materials were there to accomplish the job expeditiously with a knowledgeable crew of hard workers. I would use them again and highly recommend them to anyone wanting artificial turf installation. Kudos to Roberto and his crews."

Brush Chipping questions, answered by experts

The cost to remove all bushes around a house can vary widely based on the size and number of bushes, their location, and the complexity of the removal process. Smaller properties with fewer or smaller bushes may cost less, while larger properties with numerous or larger bushes will cost more. Additionally, if any bushes are located in hard-to-reach areas, you’ll likely pay additional labor costs. To get an accurate cost estimate, it’s always a good idea to obtain quotes from local landscaping or tree removal services based on the specific needs of your property.

Yes, you can put tree branches in a dumpster. In most places, tree branches, brush, logs, and other wood are considered yard waste, which is allowed in most dumpsters. Check with your local municipal authority to determine whether there are any rules about yard waste disposal and how much yard waste you can place in a single dumpster.

While tipping junk haulers is not required or expected, it is a greatly appreciated gesture for a job well done. Many junk removal companies state that tips are welcome but not mandatory. A good rule of thumb is to tip between 10% and 20% of the total bill, or a flat amount of $10 to $20 per worker. For exceptional service, a tip of $20 to $50 for the entire crew is also appropriate. It is often best to give cash directly to each worker at the end of the job.

Consider tipping if the crew:

  • Goes above and beyond your expectations.

  • Handles heavy, bulky items or navigates difficult spaces like tight hallways or stairs.

  • Works in inclement weather or deals with potentially hazardous materials.

  • Takes extra care to protect your home and property.

  • Accommodates a last-minute scheduling change.

Some things you can do to prepare for yard work services are aerate the soil, fertilize your grass, keep weeds under control, regularly mow your lawn, and water your grass.

It may sound icky, but yes, urine encourages microbial activity that breaks down organic matter faster. It’s rich in nitrogen, which helps balance carbon-heavy materials like dry leaves or straw. Use sparingly and apply it to a well-balanced pile, not one already high in nitrogen.
