"Have used them for years !! Outstanding customer service always!! They have repaired, put in a new section for a current system, prepped a portion of my system when I was having the yard dug up for septic tank repair, etc. They always come through for me and are very reasonably priced!!"

"I think they treated the wrong lawn. The note they sent me via text message referenced trees and shrubs in my yard, I have none. They also did not leave a yard marker showing they had been there. Otherwise, this would have been a 5 star review."

"Mr. Davis and his crew are exceptional. They installed a yard irrigation system, piped down spouts to eliminate areas of wash out, installed the well pump, and installed sod in my large yard in a day and a half and cleaned the yard up nicely. And the price was unbeatable; I had five other estimates. Very professional, hard workers, courteous, on-time, calls returned promptly. If I have a question Tyrone is happy to answer and help. I have already recommended this company to others and I will definitely use them for any future landscaping needs. I highly recommend Mr. Davis and his crew. My experience was great and they are wonderful folks to work with."

"They came out and did all that work picked everything up came in the house got my big tv that didn't work. Did it so fast, so accurately that they were done in like half hour. They gave me a reasonable price for the job. They're wonderful polite young gentlemen and they said they can fix anything and just give them a call."

Lawns questions, answered by experts

Weeds may grow back when pulled out if the root is not completely removed. Invasive weeds can regrow from just a small portion of remaining root, so using a weed-pulling tool can help ensure you remove the entire root. Weeds may grow back faster if roots aren’t fully removed, and incomplete removal could cause them to spread as well.

Yes, rotting leaves can be good for your soil. The decaying leaves release nutrients into the soil that can boost the health of your plants, and the organic matter also helps improve airflow and water drainage.

Always do a poop sweep before mowing your lawn. Running your mower over dog waste can be messy, unsanitary, and smelly, and it can spread the poop to other parts of your lawn. Plus, you won’t be able to get it out of the grass (or the mower blades) easily.

It’s unlikely your leaves are a hazard, especially if you get to them while they’re dry. However, a couple of rare risks exist. University studies suggest that decaying leaves can produce organochlorines, toxic pollutants similar to man-made PCBs (polychlorinated biphenyls), so avoid keeping them in an enclosed area.

Also, leaves and compost may cause the growth of fungi that can cause diseases like histoplasmosis and aspergillosis, as well as mold spores that are unhealthy for human lungs. Again, severe issues are rare, but those with compromised immune systems or allergies to mold should wear face masks when directly handling leaves.

You can choose between weekly leaf removal services throughout the fall or a single cleanup at the end of the season. If you want to maintain a pristine lawn, weekly service is a good idea to keep up with falling leaves. Alternatively, if you prioritize saving money, you can wait until all or most of the trees on your property are bare and pay for a one-time service. In most areas, this is typically in early to mid-November. While a single service is more budget-friendly, your yard will not remain leaf-free for the entire season.
