"Great from start to finish. I left a voicemail and George Smith called me back promptly to schedule an appointment. He came out and was professional and friendly, giving us pointers on every aspect of the job. We were on the books for the job within ten days and his son ran the job. George Jr. was meticulous with the details with demolition one day and installation the next. I could not have asked for a better experience. The price was reasonable as well. $2600 to dig out sod and 4" of dirt, haul it away; bring in 5" of crushed gravel and install it on ground cover lined with a nice wood frame. Thank you C&L. Nice to do business with a family company."

"From the initial contact to the completed job, the process was smooth, professional, and stress-free. The plumber arrived promptly at the scheduled time and was well-prepared with all the necessary tools and equipment. Before beginning the installation, they took the time to explain the process and answered my questions thoroughly, which made me feel confident in their expertise. The installation itself was done efficiently and with great attention to detail. They ensured that everything was properly connected, checked for leaks, and tested the disposal to confirm it was working perfectly. They also cleaned up the area afterward, leaving my kitchen spotless. What stood out most was their professionalism and courteous attitude. They even offered tips on maintaining the garbage disposal to extend its lifespan and prevent future issues. I’m very satisfied with the quality of work and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this plumber to anyone needing a reliable and skilled professional. Excellent service from start to finish!"

Storm Drain Installation FAQs, answered by experts

Some storm doors might need two closers, depending on the weather conditions in the area. For example, if it’s particularly windy where you live, installing two storm door closers (instead of one) can prevent your door from slamming shut when it’s propped open. You can place one at the top of your door and another at the bottom.

A storm door should be the same size as the front door. Both doors will fit into the same opening on the exterior of the home, so you can expect the storm door to be the same size as the front door. Most doors will be about 32 or 36 inches wide and 75 or 81 inches tall, although you can customize your door sizes.

Storm doors provide an additional barrier for your main entryway and offer several features that can help deter intruders. Many models have glass panels, which let you see who’s outside without opening the door, and others come with their own locks, creating an extra layer of security. For the highest level of protection, it’s best to combine storm and security doors, security cameras, and alarm systems.

There are several potential causes of a gap at the top of your storm door. For one, your door may naturally start to sag as your house settles over time. Other possible explanations include loose screws, faulty hinges, damaged weatherstripping, or incorrect installation. The right solution for fixing a gap will depend on the cause.

Professionals ensure energy efficiency, enhanced security, and compliance with ADA and fire safety regulations.
