"Martinez Wood Floors was AMAZING. Hector, the owner, personally came to the initial inspection/estimate and throughout the entire time was accessible, professional and responsive. I shopped and compared various prices and Hector was very affordable in comparison to the rest of the companies i interviewed. AND his work is INCREDIBLE. My floors, despite being 70 years old, LOOK NEW! Certain planks that had to be removed and replaced due to stain or deterioration were done with exacting precision and match the existing floor. I was amazed by the level of craftsmanship and expertise exercised by all of Hector's team. They are truly artists. I have recommended them to various friends because of the high quality of work they delivered. I would use them again anytime for any of my wood floor needs. Simply awesome."

"Great work done on my backsplash and island to include some electrical work. I can’t complain at all...I had my kitchen done with others and they came and fix my errors! Juan did the work and his wife assistance in paying attention to detail is great! Very detailed, clean, flexible and very customer oriented. I will be hiring again for another home project! Whether you install flooring before or after kitchen cabinets depends primarily on the type of flooring you are using. For materials like hardwood, tile, and sheet flooring, the best practice is to install the flooring first. This ensures the cabinets are installed at the correct height and on a stable surface. However, you should not install cabinets on top of floating floors, such as laminate or luxury vinyl plank (LVP). These types of flooring need room to expand and contract with temperature and humidity changes. Placing heavy cabinets on top can restrict this movement, potentially causing the floor to buckle and making the cabinets unstable.
