"Tim was extremely helpful, completed the work ahead of schedule and beyond what I asked or expected. He took the initiative to follow up and come back out to check on the outcome of some treatments. I would recommend to anyone and will be using him in the future."

"Majestic Home Services. Is fabulous! If we could rate them a ten, we certainly would! They responded right away and promptly came to our home to give us an estimate on the work we needed to be done. They quoted us a price which we thought was very reasonable. They started working on our project right away and did a superb job! They cleaned up perfectly when they completed the project. They were efficient and professional and very courteous! We highly recommend them!"

Fountains questions, answered by experts

Small ponds can be drained and filled in about a day. Larger ponds will take two or three days for professional removal.

Yes, it’s possible to DIY a plunge pool and shave labor costs off of the project total. If you’re considering a DIY build, keep in mind that you will be responsible for pool installation and landscaping (which may require excavation). This type of DIY project is best left to particularly handy homeowners who have prior pool installation experience.

Koi fish should be in the shade and can’t be directly exposed to the sun. Consider building your koi pond in a shaded spot or hanging an awning over the top to control the amount of sunlight coming in. Learn how to design a landscape properly.

Like pools, ponds can be a safety risk, so they may increase your homeowners insurance. Be sure to let your insurance company know if you build a pond on your property—they may have safety requirements in order to keep your premium from increasing.

In addition to length and width, pond liners also come in various thickness levels. Thickness is measured in mils, a unit of measurement equal to one-thousandth of an inch, with most pond liners ranging from 15 to 60 mils in thickness. The smaller the number, the thinner (and weaker) the liner. To prevent rips and tears, it’s best to choose a pond liner that’s at least 30 mils thick.
