"We had a great experience with the team under Chris. They were able to stay within our budget and were easy to talk to and spitball ideas. I would highly recommend them and if I have future projects they will certainly be my first call."

Small jobs welcome

"Mastak LLC built a beautiful front porch and stairs on our house. They were highly responsive to calls and texts and provided a detailed price estimate and quality work on time. Vlad even offered a few suggestions about how to improve our design so that the new steps would blend in with the rest of the house. The details they included on our front entrance have elevated our home's curb appeal. They worked within our budget and made sure that we were happy with the entire project. The always cleaned the work area each day and never left a mess behind. We would not hesitate to use them again and would recommend them for any home improvement project."

"Kurt did a great job and was very efficient. He was able to repair all rot, and at a fraction of the cost of several other estimates. He repaired several window frames and replaced some of the baseboards. I was worried about having to replace siding, but only one small piece had to be replaced. Kurt is a great contractor and is very reliable and honest. We are planning to hire him to do more work on the back of our house."

Gazebos questions, answered by experts

The average cost to build or install a gazebo is around $5,700, with prices typically ranging from $3,000 to $10,000. The final cost depends on several factors, including the gazebo's size, shape, material, and design complexity. For example, square gazebos and those made from metal can be more expensive, while brick is a more affordable material. Adding custom features like built-in seating or lighting will also increase the price. You can potentially save money by purchasing a prefabricated kit or performing some of the labor yourself.

Yes, many gazebos are permanent structures built onto the land. However, if you have a portable gazebo that isn’t secured to the ground, you’ll want to check the manufacturer’s instructions to understand when to put it away. Generally speaking, when it’s particularly windy or wet outside, you should take down your temporary gazebo.

Log cabins are relatively difficult to maintain compared to a traditional house. That’s because log cabins require regular upkeep and care that can include refinishing and corncob blasting, a process similar to sandblasting that shoots ground-up corncob with compressed air.

To make the gazebo accessible, you can build a wheelchair pathway leading up to it. The path should be paved with a smooth surface for wheelchairs to roll through. A low curb should be placed along each side to ensure the wheelchair stays on the path. At the end of the path, build a wheelchair ramp connecting the gazebo.

Common materials include wood, vinyl, and metal. Wood offers a classic look, while vinyl and metal are low-maintenance options.
