"It went well! I expected it to take a long time to get it picked up, but I called for the bag to be emptied on Friday and they were here Saturday! I am already filling it up again. (We have a MESS from the storm and need to finish the kitchen before this weekend's company coming in from out of town.) I have already called them to request my bag be emptied on Friday, and they have me on the schedule! I can't believe the customer service is so great! This is not a regular dumpster company. I have a dumpster delivered last summer and they gouged my driveway. What a nightmare it was to get them to pay for the driveway to be fixed. NEVER AGAIN! It's BullBag only for our future needs."

Small jobs welcome

"Excellent experience. Jim was prompt with responses, coming out for an estimate and completing the project. He was friendly and honest, but most importantly, his work was high quality. He custom built the shelving unit precisely for our garage and our needs. Would definitely recommend without hesitation and will use him again when we add another garage onto our house!"

"Absolute best experience we've had with someone cleaning. We've tried a few services in the past and have always been disappointed, but Christina did everything perfectly! The entire house was spotless, well organized, and she was super communicative while doing everything so we feel like we had a solid say in how everything went. 100% will reach out for help again and value you and your work so much."

"Matt is great to work with and his crew is very knowledgeable about their work. I had to call him to make a few changes and there was never any problem. Yes, I would definitely recommend this company."

Garage Cleaning Services questions, answered by experts

Garage door freezing is prompted by snowfall and freeze/thaw cycles instead of the temperature. If you get a lot of moisture around the garage door, whether from rain or melting snow, and temperatures quickly drop below freezing (32 degrees Fahrenheit) at night, that’s a recipe for a frozen garage door. Winters with steep temperature drops overnight are more likely to create this problem, especially low temperatures to sustain a freeze, so weather in the lower 20s is a common culprit.

Garage door sensors work by using infrared beams to detect objects in the door’s path. One sensor sends a beam while the other receives it. When the beam is broken—say, by your car or anything else—the sensors signal the door to stop or reverse. It’s all about safety and making sure nothing gets trapped under the door. If they’re misaligned, the beam doesn’t connect, and the garage door might stay open or close regardless of obstructions.

With the exception of small, lightweight torsion-spring garage doors, which can operate with one spring, most garage doors require two springs to work properly. Garage doors with extension springs always require two springs—if one extension spring is broken or otherwise failing, the garage door may open unevenly and could pose a hazard if the remaining spring fails.

The cost to paint a garage door is usually $1 to $4 per square foot, which translates to around $120 to $500 for the average two-car garage door. This relatively low-cost painting project can greatly impact your home’s look and curb appeal, and you can save a good deal of money by doing it yourself.

Having a garage installed certainly adds to the value of your home. The consideration is not whether it adds value, but for many, they want to know if adding a garage yields a return on their investment or ROI. While garages can add anywhere from 5% to 20% of the total value of your property, that doesn’t mean that they return 5% to 20% of the money invested in building them. Most homeowners build garages for a purpose but know that you can recover your investment when you sell or refinance.
