"Although we did not hire TJB to plant the trees, Ted provided us with some valuable information that the Emerald Green were not Deer Resistant and knew that our area had lots of deer so he suggested using the Green Giant variety instead. "Viola Landscaping is fabulous!!!! From the 1st phone call to Viola to inquire about services to the final walkthrough of the completed product, the Viola team exhibited top notch customer service, professionalism, a diligent focus and pride on and in their work. In the HOT summer of 2018, we had decided to remove a deck removed and have a patio installed, but had minimal knowledge of hardscapes, what suited the natural landscape and met our needs. Josh from Viola was patient and made a point to design WITH us, not simply for us, until we landed on the right one, explaining the how and why of each part of the job. From the start of the work through to the completed product, the entire Viola team apprised us of any concerns (there were a few) and were always patient and courtesy in regard to our questions and suggestions. The dedication, focus and professionalism to and on the job to be done during the process was of the highest quality as shown by constant reviews by the team as the work, particularly the laying of the patio, progressed. In addition, this is a team that talks to each other about the daily approach at the beginning of the day and how the approach is going throughout. This is the groundwork for excellent outcomes; focus on the big picture and not just the day. "We waited a couple years to have this patio redone, being on an existing concrete slab we were limited with options or to pay to have the patio totally removed and fresh from start, which was out of our price ability. Dane - was the first to give us options and ideas, he had to go out of state to get a thinner patio brick that was not available around here. We find limited contractors able to work with the old construction. New patio, new steps, landscaping to add dimension to the back yard with a fire pit for ambiance. The test was how it word work with snow and rain drainage this year, we always had back up in front of the steps making it a hazard to walk onto ice. Perfect pitch - no more drainage issues. I would recommend Dane to put in a patio and would use him again. I am pleased to put up pictures as you can see the transformation for yourself. Ican't wait for our new slider chairs to put near the fire pit come in! Dane also repaired a retaining wall that did not have proper drainage and he was able to use the existing bricks to save us money. No one else would give us that option when there was nothing wrong with the bricks, they needed to be rebuilt!show more
