"These are the guys to call-- friendly, professional, and highly skilled. They helped me choose the new water heater, made sure the old cables were replaced with new ones (thanks fellas) and had the whole job done in 5 hours--including picking up the water heater. I have total confidence in Troy and his team and will be calling them back for 2 other plumbing jobs i need done."

"Alec was extremely professional for such a young man. Very knowledgable about the problem and walked us through every step of what he was doing. The company initially thought it was going to be an after hours call because how late on a Friday it was, but Alec was able to get to our house early. The problem was solved quickly, professionally and left the work area clean. I would highly recommend using this company. The cost might seem high but because it did require some after hours time and removal of the toilet, I felt the cost was appropriate for the work done."

"Came out and snaked the sewer with the possibility that it was a bad sewer line. They were punctual and fairly priced. I used an Angies list coupon. They didn't mention until they were there to do the work that the coupon did not include removing the toilet. But, would cost and additional $50 to remove and replace the toilet. My usual company uses a tarp to contain the toilet and it's water. This company didn't use anything and left water and wax ring behind for me to clean up. Nice guys though. They weren't able to clean out the sewer line and thought it must be collapsed. I hired a sewer line specialist, also on Angies list to finish the job.

We called the plumber because the toliets were stopped up.  When he came out, there was one problem after another.  Apparently the pipes in the bathrooms were cast iron and had completely rusted out.  They had to jackhammer the concrete in both bathrooms to replace the pipes up to where the pipes were good.  They found mold when they remove the tile in the bathrooms, so they had to deal with that.  When installing the overflow valve in the front of the house they found that the sewer pipes were made out of clay and had tree roots in them.  They had to dig a trench from the house out to the sidewalk and replace those sewer lines and cut down one of my trees.  They also replaced the washing machine hookup and some other things.  After it was done, they retiled and repainted the bathrooms.  The job took about a week, which was less time that Alex, the plumber, had estimated.
I would give everything an A or B, except they left rock and clay pipe fragments in my front yard where they dug the trench.  All other debris was cleaned up.  Some of the tile in the half-bath is not quite level and the paint around the base boards is not good.  The prior baseboard was 3" vinyl, which they replaced with standard 1" wood.  That was ok, but they didn't remove the adhesive from the wall where the vinyl baseboard was, so the paint is all lumpy there.  Also, the door on the main bath is not quite right.  It's functional, but it has a little hitch when you open it all the way.
I'm mostly satisfied.  I'm not sure about the price.  I don't know the going rate for this situation. $17,160.00 is a lot of money, but they did a lot of work.  I kind of wish I had asked for a second opinion, just so I'd be sure that it was a fair price, but I don't really feel like I was ripped off.

"This was the 3rd time I’ve used Axium (specifically Tim Krapfl) for home inspection. Tim is very thorough, knowledgeable, and professional! I highly recommend. Tim did the home inspection, but the services also included sewer scope and radon testing."

"I had both of them taken care of at the same time so I am so glad.  Keven and Travis worked on the the water heater and Riley worked on the regular heater.  They were all so nice to me and charged me $1000 less than the last company!  He even told me about coupons that they had running and found them in the phone book for me, I couldn't believe it!  They were easy to talk to and very respectful, it is so good to have people treat me like that and for such a decent price.  The cleaning and tune-up was only $77 and the water heater replacement was $1175 after the coupon."

"We live in downtown Colorado Springs in a two story Victorian home and had water damage in our living room and bedroom from a broken pipe on the second story. After getting some estimates for mitigation and restoration from some of the larger companies in Colorado Springs, we contacted Bronco Total Home. This is a small company out of Pueblo that was recommended by a friend. From start to finish this small new company was absolutely outstanding. They were professional, courteous, easy to communicate with and always responded to any questions we had! They worked directly with our insurance company and completed the entire project within 10 days. Prices were fair and their detailed estimate was immediately approved by our insurance company. I highly recommend these young entrepreneurs and their company without reservation. If we ever need plumbing or restoration work done again we will save ourselves some time and call these guys first."

Sewer Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Toilet paper is the only material that you should flush down toilets. Other items like wipes, paper towels, feminine hygiene products, dental floss, and medications should be disposed of in the trash. Flushing these items can lead to plumbing issues and damage to sewage systems. Grease and cooking oils should also be avoided as they can solidify in pipes, causing blockages. Proper disposal helps prevent clogs and ensures the efficient operation of wastewater treatment systems while protecting the environment.

Some experts estimate that descaling your cast iron pipes can extend their lifetime by upwards of 50 years, although there’s not a lot of research to prove it. But we do know that without proper maintenance, cast iron pipes can quickly rust—leading to more expensive issues like burst pipes or main line clogs.

There are several common signs that your main sewer line may be clogged. Key indicators include multiple fixtures in your home draining slowly, gurgling sounds coming from drains or toilets, and water backing up into showers, sinks, or toilets. You might also notice water backing up from the plumbing system's drain cleanout, water in your basement drain, or unexplained wet patches on your lawn. Foul odors, such as the smell of raw sewage or rotten eggs, are another common symptom. The most reliable way to confirm a main sewer line clog is to hire a professional plumber to perform a camera inspection.

The type of clog in your sewer main determines the required cleaning method. Different types or methods of sewer main cleaning require various tools like chemicals, mechanical removal, or a combination of both. Some of the most common types of sewer main line cleaning include:

  • Minor debris removal: $100–$600

  • Tree root removal: $100–$1,000

  • Trenchless pipe repair: $60–$250 per linear foot

  • General line repairs: $1,000–$4,000

  • Full pipe replacement: $3,000–$25,000

You should not attempt to snake your sewer yourself. Accessing and snaking your sewer requires heavy-duty equipment, and while renting is possible, misusing it can damage your sewer main and leave you with very expensive repair costs, not to mention potential environmental issues and severe water damage. Accessing your sewer also exposes you to hazardous sewer gasses, and failing to seal the sewer properly after work can be very dangerous. It’s always best to hire a professional sewer cleaner near you to handle this type of work.
